New Pics of my Yellow NSX-R Replica

Mike I will definately get in contact with you when the car is back, finally I can go to some meets.

Looking forward to seeing that beast, better get that CTSC on pronto before rolling thru my hood'. I'd hate to blow away such a pretty car:biggrin:

Let me know what you think-

I LOVE IT!!!
kinda where i might end up in the future

Sweet looking car.

I'm jealous

Please post more pix. With higher resolution if possible

Very nice car; but for me too many colors competing here. Yellow, black and white just seems a little too busy for me. What would it looklike if the wheels were yellow? or maybe the top was yellow? I know the "R" scheme, but this seems busy to me. Clean car though. JMHO

 Yea what he said.

Mike, hopefully will get some horsepower soon, from an HP turbokit. So look in the for sale section for my ARC exhaust shortly.

Charles, my car started as a 91 black/black so the roof was originally black then I had it painted spa-yellow, and then back to black. Hopefully I don't switch back.

Looks sweet. I havent seen anyone do a Yellow NSX-R conversion... they all go with the white look. I'm loving it! Great work. Post up pics all the time!

You should Check out Mark B's Car Its an 2003 i think and is also yellow w/ all the procar NSX-R stuff on it. I don't know if he was going for the NSX-R look or for the performance mods. But, his car is nice. I think he and i are the few ones in Kansas City w/ Comptech S.C. and Procar NSX-R Parts and we both used to work next door to each other imagine that.

Charles, sorry for the delay on finding out the color. Jason, at legendary got the honda paint code. from the nsx-r (NA2). To me it looks like the color spa-yellow that we can buy in the states. It is still a three stage pearl. I will get the color code and post it. I will try to do that today, if not definately next week. Thanks, Frank

Can anyaone photoshop my car with the gunmetal wheels? Thanks, Frank

I dont have photoshop but maybe this might help someone who does?

Great looking car and nice to see other than White or Black. Point of detail would be to refinish the calipers in satin black with red pads as per attached of my NSX.

regards

Thanks, major stoner for photo shopping the gunmetal type-r wheel. Looks good. About the brakes, another member told me that the "R" came with the gold brakes but I found out that wasn't correct. The brakes are satin black like stated above so they will be getting swapped out. There are about 20 miles on the calipers and pads, so if someone wants them make me an offer. Thanks, Frank

Car arrived back at my house two weeks ago. Will post more pics when weather breaks. New seat covers are also installed. Thanks to, Leatherseats.com, they are 2002 style with yellow stiching, and much thanks to Gary of Diamond trim for installing tham. Diamond trim is in Canada, I would highly recommend Gary for all your interior needs. Frank

Those gunmetal colored R wheels would look great with your car! Where do you get all these R parts? I am debating if I should do an 02 conversion with a vented hood myself. It's 10k at Dali, know anywhere that might be cheaper?

Most of the parts came from Leo, at Password JDM, and Mark Johnson of Dali Racing. Some prime mebers also helped with locating parts. All the type-r parts on the car are real JDM honda parts except the hood, it is a backtard special hood, and the incoming seats are Kite garage replica nsx-r seats. If you have any questions feel free to pm me and I will give you my phone number. Get ready to spend lots of cash if you go this route. Thanks, Frank
