NEW 2015 Inspired 91 NSX Build

Am I seeing things or is the front bumper molded and the rear is not? Im not a fan of molded kits, but if anything I would have done it opposite, because there is a much greater chance of screwing up the front bumper and needing to repair / repaint than the rear.

Ok we dropped the engine saturday I had him time me he pressed the stop watch app on his phone and started the count.

I yelled done he pressed the app stop. and it was 1 hour 16 minutes. now is that fast or what? I think its fast but I am sure someone will beat me by minutes LOL

never timed myself but it was fun, was like a NASCAR pitstop it was exciting. under the knife and clock bad ass fun.

I'm paying you by the hour now Shawn  Book time just got beat by a 8 hours!

I'm anxious to see how the car turned out. I browsed through the gallery of the some of the other cars this built and his work looks great. I've been thinking of doing a complete OE repaint of my NSX and may consider using this guy.

the color is not your normal red, since Bruce buys all kinds of cars for his collections he is friends with a lot of people.

he got the paint Formula for this color from his Ferrari Rep. I dont know the name but to me it looks maroon, redish, changes colors in different lighting. but not your normal lowered ghetto pearl paint crap.

finished the interior install last night 1:30am. its buffed sanded, has like 9 coats of clearcoat. it crazy. rims were hand cut/ designed and cut for the owner.

1 4000 watt amp 1 3000 watt am. 2 subs mounted in the doors hidden, 2 mids mounted in the doors hidden, 2 tweets mounted on the center headliner above your head. navi, front cam, rear cam, front park sensor, gps, bluetooth, XM, Sirrus, all new custom ivory/white REAL leather all panels inside have been re-wrapped with brand new leather. the seats are wrapped with all new leather NSX-E hand stitched into the seats.

engine has custom plaques red vave covers intake manifold etc. its sick. I will post some pics at the car show tomorrow

stay tuned guys

Thumbs down from me as well, lines just aren't right. The body lines on the front of the car don't match to the rear, spoiler looks like it was tacked on, wheels fit odd on the car. Tail pipes aren't well integrated. Neat side mirrors though. Brakes look dinky on the giant wheels.

Maybe it is better in person, but I doubt it - looks like a hack job.

More miss than hit for me ... Do like the larger side scoop into flush doors ....

I don't really see any of the 2015 in it. Not my cup of tea. Hopefully the owner enjoy it.

Definitely NOT for me. Can appreciate the work... but the execution just did not come together. Reminds me of an 80's trans am with a big body kit and wing.

For some reason it looks like a Prelude now. Can't put my finger on why. Is the nose longer than stock?

The front looks like a take off of a Testerossa and I dont like the area above the rear light clusters where the spoiler has been extended. Alot of hard work and tallented people to execute this but the design is not for me.

After seeing the car in person. The body work and paint came out great and I can see the hard work. The design is not my cup of tea. The engine bay with epoxy bed liner sprayed in it is terrible.

thanks for all the comments guys still needs some work there were items that we didnt like and only noticed them during the car show, the front bumper needs a lower lip.

and some other things but it had to MAKE the car show. it came out of paint tuesday it was a tough time getting a car from the paint booth to a car show in 4 days.

im tired LOL

I agree " US " purist's like the old look but I think it turned out very nice and we had a few offers on the car. as its 1-of a kind

i like the side, it looks very clean and flows well. the front doesnt flow IMO, needs some sleek fixed headlights (maybe celica like the one guy in asia did?). the rear spoiler looks good from the side or front but horrible from the rear. maybe if you made the inner lines of the spoiler angled (and much narrower, the sides are too thick) instead of going straight up and used a completely different set of taillights it could work though. and if you raise the vents in the bumper or the bumper itself to account for the higher spoiler it would get rid of some of the dead space between the top of the spoiler and the bumper. just some thoughts :)

looking at it again, rear bumper def needs to be higher for it to flow with the spoiler. oh and it might benefit from a lip spoiler like the 02+ have on the trunklid but much taller than stock. honestly i was scared when i saw some of the mockups but its not all that bad, id just tweak front and rear some

I think adding some 17/18 or 18/19 wheels in black with a nice rear stepped lip would make it look A LOT better because it needs to be a lot lower. The lines along the bottom of the car need to line up.
