Ok, I took some photos of my collection after you guys posted pics of your "toys":

Those of you that have other models and have not posted pics of them, put them up!

i have three Kyoshos; Type R, S and the Yellow one. Also several Ebbros. do not have the money left for a digital camera but will save for one if I don't spend it with either Chris at SOS or Mike at Dali...life is tough..

Thanks! It's nice to know there are other NSX/Robotech fans out there woohoo

Now I need to buy the DVDs--I put that purchase off when I bought the NSX...

P.S., Soulstice - email me pics of your Robotech collection if you can!

As I've posted on other threads, I've got a decent collection of NSX toys including the bit char G NSX-R and the Kyosho and Revell 1/18 scale die-cast NSXs. But if people keep posting pics like this, I'm gonna have to finally take a pic of my NSX collection WITH my real NSX.

I also have a few Macross toys in my collection (as well as the Mospeada Cyclone)...and I DO have the three Robotech: Macross saga box sets on DVD.

Of course, if we keep expanding this topic to include non-NSX toys, I don't know where I should stop. Star Wars, Macross, Toy Story...I even have a die-cast 1/18 scale Back to the Future DeLorean....

Weather wasn't good enough to set up a shot with my real NSX, so this will have to do for now.

I like the layout on the first pic. I don't quite understand the sheep (??) dolls however. And what is the NSX trophy for?

I too have all the Macross/Masters/New Generation DVDs. I recommend getting the Animego "Macross" DVD sets (japanese only w/ english subs) and not the Harmony Gold "Robotech" ones (horribly dubbed english only).
And don't bother with the Master's DVDs unless you're a hopeless nut like me. The New Gen series is alright, but not even close to the macross saga.

Phoen$x -> I will post some shots of my minor collection as requested soon.

Okay, my turn.

Here's my NSX shelf:

Here's my car case:

And since we have so many Macross/Robotech/Anime fans:

and

You can see some old school Transformers and old school Japanese Giant Robot toys along with the Macross stuff in this picture.

I'm still working on the room, particularly the other half that you don't see. It'll have a combination of old and new Star Wars memorabilia. As a matter of fact, I only have room to display a portion of the stuff I have. I've got a grip load of 1:18 cars that I'll have to rotate display time and I still have more Japanese toys I need to unbox!!

I have a cropped version of the first layout that probably more appropriate than any of the others.

The two dolls are Gromit and Shaun (from the Wallace and Gromit short, A Close Shave)

And what is the NSX trophy for?

3rd place at the NSXCA Camarillo Autocross

I recommend getting the Animego "Macross" DVD sets (japanese only w/ english subs)

Are they available in Region 1?

I've also been dying to get my hands on a Region 1 version of the feature Macross: Do You Remember Love with English subs but am not aware of one.

and not the Harmony Gold "Robotech" ones (horribly dubbed english only).

Fortunately for me, I know nothing better (i.e. I've never seen the Macross TV series with the original voices / translation)

And don't bother with the Master's DVDs unless you're a hopeless nut like me.

I wasn't planning on getting any of the other Robotech DVDs.

Here's a link for the Animego Macross DVDs : http://www.animeigo.com/Products/macross.html
I have the collectors edition 9 DVD box set, and have no issues playing them on my region 1 DVD player.

Also, I got my copy of DYRL (do you remember love) via ebay. All of the sellers are from Hong Kong and the DVDs are "All region" encoded. For example : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1571687931

No issues with playback, but the quality is not the best. It's definitely a must-have for Macross fans. Japanese only with English subs. Shouldn't cost you more than $15-20 shipped. And make sure you get the copy with Rick & Minmei together on the cover (not the one with Minmei singing).

And FuryNSX -> DAMN! Nice collection. I'm almost embarrassed to put up my shots next to that assortment! (Should have the pics up tommorrow-ish)

How is the video quality compared to the Robotech box sets? If it looks better, I'd be tempted...

I'm familiar with that release, but had been hoping for a higher quality release in the U.S. I suppose I shouldn't count on one ever coming out.

You should see how much my crappy-when-new VHS copy has deteriorated. I think I made that copy back in 1986...

Well, Randy saved me the trouble of setting up any more shots of my miniscule-by-comparison collection.

Sounds just like me. IF I can even find my old dubbed copy, I'm sure it'll look like total crap. Maybe I should go get that HK DVD release.

Sweet collection, Akira! Gezus, you guys have some awesome toys (definitely puts mine to shame!).

Maybe we should start an NSXAC (NSX Anime Club

Even more nice pics Eric!! That SW Action Fleet shot only reminds me that I have to get mine finally displayed!!!

Love them Star Trek ships too! I've got mine displayed up also (but no DS-9,

), along with a 20 year old Milton Bradley ST:TMP 1701 Enterprise that my brother is just itchin' to buy from me. NO WAY!! BTW, did you see pics of the new Bandai Enterprise 1701-A model, complete with lights and pre-painted Aztec panelling paint scheme?

I've got all of the Playmates ones EXCEPT for the Enterprise B (which I happened to buy for a friend, but couldn't find when I went looking for one myself).

I've never even SEEN that one!!! BTW, did you see that the company that is doing the Enterprise toys MAY do Motion Picture ones if the NX-01 does well (must-have-Reliant-now). Unfortunately I haven't been able to convince myself that I should buy the NX-01 (not fond of the design, but the toy looks pretty good).

Funny you should mention that. A coworker sent me a link to the pics earlier today.

I should get better pictures of the toys on my desk...but that would involve cleaning my area...and I have work to do!

Vytas, AWESOME jet collection. I was big time into U.S. fighter jets (and aircraft carriers) when I was younger and would have killed to have that kind of collection. As an adult, I realized I had to draw the line somewhere.

Hey, I don't see any F-14s (my faves)?
