So after building a J swapped prelude I figured the only way to be better was rwd. I have dreamed of owning a NSX since I was 16. I finally got to a place in my life where I could get one. I absolutely hate following in someone elses footsteps or doing something that has already been done.

Background on the car. I picked up a 2002 Silverstone NSX shell with matching interior a few months ago. I had a few other projects that needed to be completed before starting the nsx. They are done. And I started it last week. My daily driver was t boned by an intoxicated driver so i have the full swap.

If clearance permit I will be running a topmount turbo manifold and have a roof scoop for direct air.

I received the car with steelies and spares on it so i had an extra set of wheels laying around to throw on it.

On jackstands ready to go. The busa is in pieces right now too, time to triple the power on it.

Im hoping to have the mounts finsished this week. I still need to get a set of nsx axels to figure out which I need to go with. The shift linkage is going to be the difficult part.

more updates later.

This is insane!!! Where did you score a pristine shell without a motor? What are your power goals?

Looks like a cool project! What kind of power do you expect to make when it is all said and done?

Subscribed! What are the advantages of the J series over the stock C series?

Im in Oklahoma. I had the shell shipped in from Fort Lauderdale Florida. I probably overpaid but it was a 1 owner, clean title car. Ultimately I want to break the 1000hp mark, with the complete stock motor I will be pushing the 600ish area until it blows. I can pick up the motors for $300-$600 so I dont really care if they blow up. I will sleeve stroke and bore one to around 4 litres for the hp goals with a bigger turbo.

With my past experice with the J motor, I can make over 300hp all motor with a completly stock motor. The main difference is cost. I can build a factory stroked 3.6 for under $2k and make ~340whp. The c motors are not cheap. The J's are a dime a dozen.

Sick . Very nice roller also

Very awesome!!! I was close to doing a J swapped s2000, but now if my motor goes, i have an alternative!

This is an amazing build. Please update often!!
