My 96-T Berlina Black Progress!

The 02's look great but your car and viper driver's car are something else. I mean there are aftermarket wheels almost none of which I like and there are these BC's that are just hawt.

How about this. You can used your stock wheels for the track when you do track it and get a set of BC's for when you don't track it. You will get the best of both world by doing that . One for track (stock wheels) and one (BC's) for when you don't track. Like i say TURBO2GO something got to give my friend, something got to give....I don't care what ANYONE says, once you put aftermarket wheels on a car it will not ride as good as stock wheels. That's a FACT !

Anyways, as you all can see my engine bay is really clean and spotless. I took a lot of time cleaning it. Well, the best that I could. I even bought a hand held steamer to really get into all the edges, cracks and etc... I now clean the engine bay every time I wash the car. But after all this wiping down, steam cleaning there is one thing missing which is a Targa Shock Tower Brace. I been searching for one for quite awhile and I finally found one that will work with my set that I have. It even match the theme of my car. I ordered it and it will be here Tuesday. I will have pictures of it install then.

damn new wheels look sick! appreciate you letting me get the wheels early, i wish the adv front was a little more concave but they're still sick. might have to talk to adv to get the front redone.

Thanks. No problem. Car was just sitting there and B was up here with his truck so minus well send it home with him so you can enjoy it. The front suppose to be a standard concave like the rears but I don't know why ADV's did do it like how I want it. It doesn't look bad but it would look killer if it had a little more concave tho. Post some picture so I/we can see what your car look like with the ADV's.

Wow, I've been off the site for a few days and come back to seeing your new wheels. The car is pure sex now. They came out great!

Thanks for the kind words Nefarious! I very happy with the way the wheels came out and extremely happy with how they look on my car. Like I said before, I don't think my pictures that I took and posted really show how this car really looks. It really look much better in person .

Are you serious?! That includes the engine bay? I used to spend 6-8 hours after each drive cleaning my NSX, and it still didn't come out as nice looking as yours. :(

Hehe, Yeah. Here is how I wash the NSX.

First I vacuum the interior, then I use a high pressure air holes and air the interior out then open the hood, trunk and engine hatch and air holes everything out so it can be free of dust.

Then I wash the entire car starting from the top of the car slowly work my way down. Then I clean the wheels and brakes. I also clean the inner barrel of the wheels when I clean the wheels .

After the car gets wash and rinse down I come back with a high pressure air holes to air the water out from all the edges, crack, wheels etc... then I start wiping the car down with a micro towel to dry the entire car. The car, door jams, hood jam, trunk jam, the wheels and behind the wheels and of course the engine bay.

The last and finally touch is....... Tire Shine !

This is how I was the car every time i wash it

I know it sounds longer than 2 hours but it not. If you want a car to last long all you have to do is just take really good care of it.

Look what UPS got for me today

Install picture will be up soon!

I think you would have been better with aluminum honestly. The black will just disappear in a sea of black. It will barely be visible.

Really? I think the Black Anodized will look pretty nice. It goes with the theme of my NSX. The aluminum doesn't seems to match anything in the engine bay area. I thought it was a little too much too. By the way,, the Aluminum Brace is discontinued...

We'll see...

Agree. Love the wheels though!

I tried black... it was like I had no brace at all from like 4 feet away. I think you might be a little dissapointed. I guess we will find out.

Love the car and the rims are amazing. If you ever decide to sell the car LMK, I would love the buy it. If you don't mind PM me with the price on the rims am interested in a set for the LBBP.

I still want to buy a few more things before I post any pictures, but it pretty much look like your X with the 02 tails and without the 02 valence but I'm in search for a used one at the moment. I still need to order the BC coilovers cause the Tein RA that came with the car doesnt drop it as low as I want and I want to put some spacer and stretch tires for a more aggresive stance like Thomas car but not that extreme though, when the tires go bad.

I say chrome plate the bar and leave the SOS plate the way it is. Chrome seem to be the theme of your engine bay, and it will stand out better. Damn your bay is super clean I need to spray mines down but I'm too afraid it'll mess something up in the bay.

I LOVE your new wheels! I'm usually not a fan of black wheels with chrome lips but yours just works!

Thanks!

Thanks! I don't think I'm ever selling this NSX. Everything on it is it great/excellent/mint condition. I will PM you soon!

Cool! If you need the hook up on the BC I know some peeps that get you a set. I have a couple set of spacers if you want them since you bought my wheels from me you can have it I was planning on doing what you are planning to do. If you want it let me know I can send it home for you. Its custom hub centric and i have all the extended lugs to go with it.

I don't want to chrome it because that will be to much chrome. Just wait and see it's gonna look good with the Black Anodize. You don't have to spray the engine down and have to worry about damaging anything buy a high pressure hand held steamer and a detail brush and steam your engine then come back with a couple wet towels to wipe it down. If you engine is real dirty do it over a few more time and that should bring it back to life

Thanks for the tips. I definitely need to improve my efficiency. :sigh:

Phoeni$x, hit me up: I used to detail cars and I got pretty quick at it. Caroline seems to have a pretty good system.

Of courst, that is the key: to develop a system that will help in a few areas:

1) You'll never miss a spot
2) You'll be fast at the job
3) You won't be going back and forth to places you've already cleaned.

Starting from the inside is definitely the way to go in my opinion.

With the NSX being a 2-seater, this quickens up the interior portion a little bit.

Hell yeah what size spacer you have? Pm me the price you can get on the bc coil, i got the price from circuitmotorsport and they were pretty cheap but if you can beat their price that would be great. I'll give the hand steamer a try when I have some free time, thanks for the advice.

I have a full set front and rear hub centric 10mm spacer with extended lugs and a set of rear hub centric 5mm spacer as well. You can have it. If you go any wider than that you gonna have some serious rubbing.
