Mugen NSX RR

Kane,

Whats the chances of reproducing the steering wheel with cruise buttons and that superb centre console?

regards, Paul

You wanna put a Civic wheel in your NSX? It actually doesn't looke like there is a console bezel at all in this car, just components stacked tightly together and the facias meet the dash?

I had a Civic rental car in the week when the CRV was in for a service. I actually found it to be a very comfortable wheel to use. Given the CF treatment of the show car and with the buttons modded to keep the cruise then yes, I'd be interested if its do-able Kane?

Of course there is still the other question, which is to use an S2k wheel with OEM cruise buttons for those wishing to keep airbag and cruise.

I've been searcing but as yet not able to find any better photos of the console. Anyone else had any luck?

regards, Paul

We contacted a few people with in Mugen about the RR,

They said that there where no plans at all to produce parts from the RR Concept, And that the RR was just a show car/concept car.

The center console is from a Legend (RL) the dash board is from a Legend (RL) or a new Accord (TSX)
I'm sure that they are all non functional on the show car plus the Legend console has more buttons and functions than a NSX has so there is no point in having them.

It's mostly for show.

The dashboard is probably not functional as well since (if it is a Legend or Accord cluster) isn't compatible with a NSX.

A S2000 steering wheel would look better than the Civic wheel in a NSX but thats personal taste both would work.

The transmission could be a race transmission (Hewland, ZF, etc) a Porsche trans axle would work as well.

To me... It looks like a happy dolphin =)

Honestly I would still buy one to put next to mine. My NSX not my happy dolphin. I keep the dolphin in the pool... =)

I have to say this interior is gorgeous. I like the segmented appearance of the wheel and dash. The passenger side fails though. The centre console also a fail. I would like to see the drivers side in a newly engineered NSX. I would also like to add that NSXPRIME members need to be making this NSX not the dolphin happy Honda reps and partners.
