If anyone's interested in spending Memorial Day driving at Mid-Ohio (still my favorite track of the 25 I've driven), there are still openings at the Chin Motorsports event on Monday and Tuesday, May 29-30. You can sign up for both days or Monday only. Chin runs great events, lots of fun and as safe as anyone's. Instructors are required for novices.

Northern Ohio Chapter BMW CCA will be there the previous Friday-Sunday, May 26-28. I don't know whether they still have openings or not.

I'll be instructing in my NSX at both events - hope to see other NSXprime members there! Five days at Mid-Ohio: :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

$530 for a 2 day school with 75 people!! What the heck??

WOW!! Are you serious??

The Mid-Ohio event next Monday/Tuesday is actually the 'TracQuest' format, which will provide a minimum of 3+ hours per day; more is possible. Also, refreshments and breakfast at the track are included. There are optional catered lunch and dinner choices, as well.

The core approach to the CMS track event is based on fewer participants, and more track time. It is a classic example of 'you get what you pay for!' If one evaluates the track fees in $/hour, it is a better value than 'typical' club style track events. Usually, the available track time on day one exceeds a standard 2-day event.

Full event details can be found here

an option for one-day is also available.

So you can pay $530 for two days with Chin Motorsports and get 3+ hours of track time per day, or $375 for two days with BMW CCA and get half as much track time. Your choice... how much do you enjoy driving your car, instead of sitting around looking at it? ;)

I'll be there...and looking for some advice on the line from you experienced Mid-Ohio guys.
