Maserati MC12 in the snow!!!

you guys act like he totalled it.

he has done nothing to the car that can't be repaired, and fairly easily for that matter
Now what if he did totalled the car on he track,or worse, on the street and taking a few other bystanders with him. Those racing tires have so little traction in the snow that it is extremely unsafe. I wonder if he has a defedable case? Any lawyers out there?

I know he has the right to do whatever he pleases with it, but would that be stupid? Have money doesn't always make you smart.

Anyone with any sense of reality realizes that he was going to crash the car. Even the host of the show rightfully predicted that before he got to the track. It was kind of crazy to get into the car with him, but I guess he was doing his job.

Umm....probably easy to predict when you are doing the voice part after the clips are shot and you are editing the clips together. He already knew the wreck had happened. Not really a grand prediction. I wonder if he can pick the lotto numbers for me. :D

If you watch that clip again, I think the host predicted in the parking lot while he was sliding the car around in the lot before they reached the race track.

So if there were 30,000 of these cars his actions would not be considered as heinous or abusive by you?

Well put, totally disagree with you Zahntech. Just because it is RARE, and EXPENSIVE and BADASS, doesn't mean that its owner has some magical obligation to protect it for the gawking amusement of the peasant class. Even if there was only 1, designed as the greatest vehicle ever, by Enzo himself, for one lucky person - means no more than that. Maybe just take a picture before you start using it.

There is a difference between a Van Gogh and a sweet Maserati. The latter is still producing its works of art. Also, the Maserati artistry and that will, inevitably, get better and better until such time as we're all driving our "Boeings" (Airbuses for you Eurozone folks) to work.

I say: enjoy the car and god bless the "old rich guy" that wants to have some wild fun to tell stories about. You know he's probably recited accident at least a hundred times to buddies at the yacht club. Even cooler would be if he did it INTENTIONALLY just to sell the videotape in order to 1. fix his and 2. by a second one.
