Started with repairing chewed wires
then checking for vacuum leaks
then checked O2 sensors
then changed spark plugs and clean/check coils
then tested fuel resistor
then changed fuel filter, drained old and refilled w new fuel, and added fuel gauge
After much thinking and reading about the symptoms, I realized I needed to start doing sensors next. So happens as I was pulling every harness/ sensor clip, I ended up at the TPS and checked the OHMs reading. It just read a constant 5 or so on the meter as I turned the throttle so I just left it unplugged and started the car. That was all it took.
Of course I left out a lot of wasted effort on little time consuming stuff that I didn't want to bore you all with:biggrin:
