I don't understand this mentality by Honda. Offer an exterior upgrade w/o any engine or driveability improvements. Even just 20 extra horses would get people to move and buy. As it is, this SE is just an exterior revision and a less than mild revision at that.

Now it's like the old Buick motto of slap some fuzzy dice and call it "Sports Edition". Pathetic. 25 years and this was all they could come up with other than "Hey look at what we did in the past"

Type-S. They were dying to get rid of it because it didn't sell and Acura made them keep it in the showroom so they had one less slot for a TL or MDX until it was gone.

Honda isn't in the business of exiting sports cars anymore. The sooner everybody let's that sink in, the sooner we can quit kidding ourselves.

Confused not really just angry over them killing off the ASC/HSC after all the work they put into it. That sweet sounding V10 still haunts and excites me. I'll always keep paying attention to see if that one makes it back. Although I'm sure it will just be some warmed over hybrid though:frown:

1. Rims (wider please, cause you got CTSC)

2. Dual double-din (GPS, rear cam, audio, and status)

3. Clear bra.

4. This is the most important action item to you. Take 2 Silver Centrum, paint your car into Monte Carlo Blue Pearl, and then you are done with your NSX.

Rear camera is not for parking, Davy, it's for the rear view during racing. Check out Top-End's NSXs in Japan. So I'll take the centrum for racing, and you take the silver-centrum because you need rear camera for parking ^_^ love you Davy.

He's trying to find out now if it's mid or not and as soon as I know I'll tell you. What he did say that hybrid is an "option" not just a hybrid. Again as soon as I know more I'll confirm.

No and he wouldn't know anything like that if he gets configuration we'd be lucky.

V8?? Come on lol My fearless prediction w/o knowing anything else is we the get the HSC ..basically. We'll get mid engine ( spiritual successor is what Ito said ) SHAWD ( it'll be an Acura ) we'll get the 8 speed DSG ( it was on the ASC/HSV car ) and a manual option , as will a hybrid apparently.

Probably a new V6 that will be higher performance but don't expect more than 400hp. It will be heavier but will get better mpg and 0-60 than the NA2 and it will be cheaper than the last NSX due to parts sharing.

Hondas run by bean counters so it will be use what we got and make the best of what we got. I'm cool with that and if it looks close to the HSC sign me up.

Yes I do. Shame they're saying it's a one off as people haven't been this excited over an Acura in years.

I've seen no complaints other than the color in the blogs. If Acra did design this and not someone on the movie set then they do indeed still have some talent.

It's sad that in the year of Acuras 25th anniversary the most exciting thing they have is a movie prop .. for next year.
