Or get Bose to fix them with the newer better components.

I just sent my Subwoofer into them.

Just call 800-231-2673 for Bose service and they'll give you RMA number for you to send your enclosure(s) in.

Total for all three $227.25 or $79.25 each. That includes S/H back to your door.

Pretty simple.

You know what I don't understand, why doesn't Acura issure a recall for the BOSE amp. On the 91-92 Legend, they issued a recall for the BOSE amp because it would short out (Caps would leak and and burn up similar to the NSX BOSE amp) and be a potential fire hazzard. Since it was a recall I know people who have been getting a fixed replacement amp still today if the amp wasn't replaced already.

LOL Nice one Mr Wolf....
I wonder if that happens, will insurance buy me another NSX? :)

that picture is kinda cool.. but dang don't tell its because of the amp.

PLEASE tell me that the fire didn't result from a stero issue!!!

That's a great picture. If the Jeep was not there it would be perfect.
The NSX is just a car and luckily there were no injuries from that one burning down.
It's weird how there are so many problems with the NSX yet it's still a great car.

I'd rather replace them with aftermarket speakers for that price. :) No offense.
My JL Audio 650XR components cost about $200, installed them myself and they look sweet and sound crisp and clear. :D

Considering the fact that ~60% of the NSXs in North America are now at least a decade old , I don't think there are very many problems at all... only a few, relatively minor ones.

Are you running your aftermarket speakers from the stock head unit or did you pull that out too?

out of topic guys...but I dont mind the bose sounding at all. actually this pertains to the bass. I took out the sub on the passenger floor, and I still felt the bass from the door. I think the box on the floor actually never worked at all....lol. Anyhow...Im liking it so much im thinking that if I change the doors with the Mb quarts that I have that it might make the sound not as warm(sharp with no bass). So anyone here have used the bose door enclosure with aftermarket speakers?

Geez, after seeing an NSX get wrecked at the track, then seeing the picture of this one burning, I am feeling pretty depressed. Sure these are just cars, but they're not Geo Metros for Christ's sake!

Sorry, back to Bose amps....

You cannot run aftermarket speakers directly from the stock head, but you can use still use the Bose head if you also add an external amplifier to drive them.
