The new concept looks NICE and better than the old concept... MUCH better IMO than the Acura effort:

Argh they had photos of the interior, which looks darn near production-ready, but I can't get to them anymore. However I will tell you the redline is at 9000rpm.......

I read somewhere today that it's front-engined... sure looks mid-engined to me though???

Wow, now that's what I call a cockpit! Is it just me or is there a touch of NSX in the interior?

This one looks more like it's designed by a human instead of alien technology...

I just hope they put a true manual tranny in it. Paddle shifting is nice and all, but I still like to row thru the gears. (not that I'm really in the market for this car right now, but I'd hate to see them go away from a typical 6spd like so many seem to be doing these days)

That looks pretty sweet! I am impressed. It definitely looks better than the Acura Advanced Blah Blah Blah. The gauge on the inside looks very hi-tech.

The AASC looks a lot like a clay model. I bet it shapes up in the future.

the first LFA renditions left me cold too.

I agree with you. The AASC is definitely going to be cleaned up and look a lot better. I am almost sure those headlights won't make it.

Nevertheless, I just personally prefer the Lexus (imo their interiors are just a lot better) and I am looking forward to the LFA production version (I hope they clean up the front bumper. that is just way too radical as it is).

I never like the LF-A at first when it was in concept form. A lot of it had to do with the triangle center exhaust, the huge fan grills at each corner of the rear, and it being a front engine. However, this more production ready version looks at lot better except for those stupid triangle exhausts. Comparing it to the ASC that probably will be in the same front engine GT class, I like the LF-A better. Hopefully Acura does clean up the ACS a lot more and price the ASC under the LF-A by at around $20K.
