Hi All --

The lunch for Saturday has been confirmed with Zuma's, a local Prescott restaurant. Lunch will consist of Southern Chicken Salad, Southwest Style Spaghetti, and Tequila Chicken Pasta with bread, iced tea, and soft drinks. The caterers will provide all the associated plates, cups, silverware, etc. as well as provide an extra table for food service. All this will be delivered to us at the Lynx Lake Recreational Area with clean-up included.

I have prepaid the lunch, which is $20.00 per person. If you could pay me back on the drive, that would be great. An order for 17 people has been paid for. If anything comes up, and you decide you can not attend, I would appreciate if you could drop a check in the mail to me for your reserved meal.

Thanks,
-- Chris

I've picked up the radios! They are Motorola "GP300 UHF 8CH 4W" with an extra high capacity battery. The cost comes to $10 each with tax. I'll go over their usage tomorrow, but basically Channel 1 is set to our frequency, and you just push & hold the big button to talk. Remember to turn off the radio when you park your car, otherwise the batteries will get drained.

I'm stoked about the drive!! See you all tomorrow morning!

P.S., I only received a few responses on the dinner selection so we'll just order at the restaurant.

For those of you on the East side, we will be meeting at Basch Acura / ScienceofSpeed at 8am, and promptly leaving around 8:15 to caravan to the rendez-vous point. We are right off the 202 at 4202 E McDowell Rd (between 44th and 42nd St).

Cheers,
-- Chris

What an exhilarating ride!

Guys, thank you for participating today--it wouldn't have been as fun without you! I am really exhausted, but I've started a thread with a few pics as promised:

http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18968

I have a lot more pics (and some sweet videos), but there's no way I can post them all. I will burn them to CD along with a write up of the event, and distribute them to everyone at the Scottsdale Pavilions next Sat (6/28).

Good night!

Kelvin: a “BIG THANK YOU” to you! Everything was perfect!

I had alot of fun today, definitely need to do this again soon!

I also posted some pictures on the thread PHOEN$X started.

Thank you to everyone for a fun day!

-Yvonne

Yvonne: You are welcome, and I'm glad you guys could make it! You should see some of the pics/videos I took, I nearly wrecked my NSX (and took out some others -- Bill ;) ) getting them... BTW, beautiful pics, I'd like the full res versions of the scenic and posed shots if it's not too much trouble.

P.S., Thanks go out to ANYTIME for providing tips on organizing this event. Thank you, John! Everything went smoothly! :)

First of all, my thanks to Kelvin for organizing this drive. It was great to meet some of you Phoenix NSXer's and I hope you had fun at the Pavillions. Although it was a very long day for us, we would do it again in a heart beat!!! Hopefully we can get some of the others from Tucson to join in next time or have a drive down here some time.

I posted a few pics on Kelvin's thread in the picture gallery!

:D Ditto that Kalvin ....You put a lot of effort to making the event turnkey :)..

I very much like taking a back seat when it comes to auto events and personal stuff. It was great meeting EVERYONE and the long distance award to the TUSCON CREW :)

Yes Kalvin thats the closest anyone has come to wrecking MYNSX (actually lack of commune on my part ) Thats OK I like a little heart pump to start out each event in my life.

Seth RUN YOUR AC you compressor misses you.And the middle east needs oil sales this month.

Lunch was great as well as convienient (cant spell)

Dinner was exellent "I'LL BE BACK!!"

April had a great time and I actually likes the shrine....I'm now going back to church LOL :) (seriously nice touch Kal)

AGAIN I thank you all for being part of the day and look foward to NSXPO 03'

MYNSX:D :D

This trip was much more fun than even the pictures show.

Kelvin - If you get tired of work as a DBA, you've got my recommendation as an event coordinator. What a great job planning every aspect. (I guess ANYTIME should get some prop's too.)

Chris - Too bad you had to bring the S2k, but thanks for the catered lunch. It definitely gave it the V.I.P. feel!

Nice to meet new members and see those that get out regularly. Hope to see you out at Pavillions and we really need to do this on a regular basis.

Maria's blood pressure has finally returned back to normal after our quick trip home.

I've got a few good pict's that i'll post when I get off my lazy a**!:D

The June 2003 NSX Sedona Drive CD is here! It contains over 400MB of files, including 474 photos and 26 videos documenting nearly every mile of the trip! This disc is free, and available only to drive participants, so pick up your copy at the Scottsdale Pavilions this Saturday, 6/28 after 8PM!

Hey Kelvin

Im going to Portland on Friday so I will not be at the Pavillions =(....Is there anyway You can send it to me? Unless you are going to be in the Basch/SoS area in the next 2 days :D

Once again I had a blast, thanks again for the awesome trip planning!

-Seth

Seth: Tell Chris to drag his ass to the Pavilions, and I'll hand him your copy.

TucAZNSX: Damn, you guys are fast! I already sent you an email, just reply with a shipping address. :)

Yeah, I won't be able to be there either....well maybe. If I can't could you mail it to me?

Hey WhooHooo...you gonna be there? You could get it for me too! :)

No show = no CD.

Just playing with ya! :D I'll give Scott your copy if you're not there. Hope you can make it though.

GLAD I CHECKED THIS POST SINCE MY TIME IS BEING OFFERED UP! :p

If anyone wants to meet at my place I would be willing to help clean. If interested, PM and we can work out details. After last weekend, my car really needs it.

VARSCSAK: NO SOUP FOR YOU!

Hey, seriously guys, a group NSX car wash sounds like a fun event after the last one! We could clean our cars before going to the Pavilions! WhooHoo, do you have a water softner?

Should we start a separate thread about this?

Anyone interested in a BBQ/pool party? There are facilities in my community, or I can rent the golf course's facility.

Cheers,
-- Chris

Hell yes! Although, Jay just had his house redone, and he has a pool & BBQ. I'll bug him about hosting something at his place when I deliver his CD. ;)
