Any members who fall outside the area of your club's primary operation could still have charter status, allowing them the benefits of membership, the newsletter, and equal opportunities to sign up for events, but perhaps no voting status due to the fact, for example, I'm in N.S. and can't get to the regular meetings. Offer this membership at an appropriatly reduced rate, as well as a senior members rate that gives chapter members a vote regardless of where they are. For out-of-towners, firstly they'll make only one trip a year to do Mosport or Tremblant/Trois Riviere, max, and secondly, there can't bee too many that fall into the catagory of outside your proposed area of operation. As a Maritimer (how weird is THAT?!?) if I got a newsletter specifically slanted to Canadian owners, and a heads-up of events I'd be happy. I'll even help/contribute if I can. I think having NSXCNA endorsement is important but not crucial, specifically as the main aim is to I think, deal with things primarily germain to Canadian ownership and localized get-together/ events...right? long sentences
