bye Nebraska, Hello Washington!
Yes, my trunk lid won't stay up, this is worse than I am! I guess the hydraulic support rods are shot. Does anyone know where I can find replacements, and is it easily installed? Sorry if this has been posted before, but I can't find any info on searching the forum.
Impotent trunk lid owner.

Don't worry. Some of us too including me. You can either replace the struts or change to CF NSX-R spoiler. The current plastic spoiler is actually quite heavy.

Try Strutwise.com....they are a company that specializes in repairing old worn out shocks...I had him do my 1991 Legend hood shocks and they looked brand new when I got them back...the local stealership were gouging me in order to get new ones because my car was so "old"...that was a bunch of BS....so I sent them to Canada and I was happy with the result...

Yeah, mine are going too. I bought the car on a warm day, opened everything up, and made sure that they worked...now it has gotten colder and my trunk doesn't wana work!

New struts plus the ball joint cost about 54.00--That was on a thread here or maybe the FAQ (and maybe prices have gone up) but I am also sending old ones to Strutwise in Canada... Make sure the collars of the struts are not broken--the hydraulics can be repaired to better than new but not the collar inserts...(u know--the plastic piece with the brass farrel in it)
