Is there any SOLID word on the new NSX or just rumors?

I just spent about 20 minutes reading "Juices" thread and reading some very insightful responses comparing Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, etc....but

What is the word on the actual car and specs?

Is this new 07/08 super car from Honda still in the dreaming stages?

Reason I ask (same for many of you) is that I was going to be an 02+ NSX but now kinda hesitant....

I have a deposit (1st in line) to spec/order a new 997 Turbo for delivery they say mid 06 as a 2007 model. I'm quite excited about that car but also love the NSX nameplate.

Any of you guys in this kind of dilemma as well?

I'd just wait. It certainly can't hurt. I'd take a 997 turbo over an nsx in heartbeat. (flamesuit on)

It will be a V10. That is all we "really" know.

You can easily flip the 997 turbo if the NSX is more appealing to you. Keep the deposit and decide then. IMHO.

Yes that is what I'm doing....1st in line to spec one out so no complaints there

A v-10 is also gonna be a guzzler but then again we don't buy these cars to be like a Prius!

The two cars will probably be close on total displacement, and the P car will be force feeding those ~4 liters. Not much difference in MPG I would think.
