At about 10:30 we started out trip over the Passwang (sorry no pictures because you need more than 2 arms to drive an NSX on this fabulous hill).
Then we had a stop and catched up Leo who's living in this beautiful area. We made a short stop at Leo's house as most of us recognized too late. :)

We then arrived at Blauen, a very small village but HONDA-land! It wasn't able to take a picture WITHOUT a Honda.

We were invited by Röbi Meury at his garage and looking back on the history of Honda. Röbi Meury spent nearly most of his time on restauration Honda automobiles with great enthusiasm and dedication. Very much to Röbi thanks again. One of my dreams became true. :)
Pic 2 looks like Honda announced the greatest call-back in their history. :) But how many people can say their parking lot was full of NSX's at the same time. :D

Unfortunately we had to leave Blauen much too early because we were late. So we drove on the highway to the airport Birrfeld where the other NSX's were waiting. Their drivers were looking very hungry so we decided to go inside and eat something.

Unfortunately I didn't take a photograph where all 20 NSX's are on one pic. Please help me out. There was also a gruoup-pic taken. Please help me out and post it here. :)

We then moved to Wohlen (Kart track). The pic was taken after most of the NSX's went home. Sorry I was too much busy. I think there are better pics than mine. I like the color of the interior.

Watch out for the next event: The Dyno Day on the 1.10.2005 with . Details will follow on this site soon.

Something else... Someone asked me about my avatar being a photo-shop yes or no. The answer is defenatly NO. HONDA is making a Private Jet with it's own developed engines. Both airplane and engine are a HONDA design, with a lot of new aerodynamic and techincal 'things' . As for now it's just an R&D project, no commercialization intended.

And by the way Thomas. I was on a holliday, why did you take me to an airport

Did anyone else notice the emmergency in progress just before we left? The Cessna 177 RG didn't have a " gear down and locked" light. I took some pics of him on final and landing on the grass... If his gear failed I could sell pictures and that would have payed for the autobahn ticket.
Thomas that message of me not comming was just a joke. I would never cancel a long trip like that for 30 euro. In % that's nothing compared with the whole trip!

Hello guys,

I am sure that you all had a good time over there!!! I just spoke on the telefone with ROby Meury and he was trilled about your visit.

It was a shame that we could not be there, we would loved to

So you all have seen the HONDA ROOTS now.

Greatings ROnny and Sandra Lucassen

Thx to Micha for the great pics. :) My camera was sleeping during most of the time. :( Thx to Micha we saved some pics.
The visit at Röbi and Trudi Meury was a real highlight, absolutely fabulous.
Bart, it was me who asked about photo-shopping. :) I know you're not cheating. :D What does it mean if an airplane has 'gear down and locked'. Is this dangerous?
How much was the whole trip? Really great you and Ingrid joined us! :)
Thanks to all who joined and took part of it.

Watch out for the SWISS DYNO DAY which takes place the 1st Oktober in Zürich: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56351
Don't miss it! :) We've found a real great track. If somebody can explain me the Ferrari Konvoi style. :)
The winner of torque has to pay the event. :D (no, just joking) :)

Kind regards,
Thomas

I want to thank the guys who organized the meeting. Was great to meet up with friends, and have a chat with the others.
I have to say that you guys take pretty well care of your cars. Every single one looked really clean!! I probably drive to much and at to high speeds, i can't keep it clean like that (mine got repainted only 2~3 years ago). Especially the black twin-turbo was amazingly beautifull, and offcourse the car of Misha was the showstealer..........
Special thankx to 'Enzo'-david and his wife Claudia, for keeping up with me all that time, and offering me lunch. Best food i ever had, and i'm sure i will go back there one day!
To bad Giuseppe didn't turn up. He seems a knowledgeable guy who i surely would have liked to meet irl.
The visit to Röbi and Trudi Meury was good as well. Beautifull collection of cars, a real S600 enthausiast!

On the way back i took a hotel in Freibrug, where a fellow hotel guest with a Boxter made a nice doording in my NSX. The guy was german, so i never even took the time to find him or get the insurance to pay, that wasn't going to work. So i was going to leave my signature the next morning, but he was gone allready, which was probably good after all.

Spend the afternoon at the nurburgring, 1 porsche carerra catched fire, 2 motorcycles crashed. Had another wonderfull lunch
There's always plenty to see out there. Porshes GT2/GT3/Turbo, M3's, CSL's, Corvette's, TVR's, Elise's, S2000's, Vipers...the list goes on.
On the way back home i did some racing with an S8(?), CSL, Cayenne S on the autobahn.

I had a wonderfull weekend, with great weather, more then i could ever hoped for.

Mich

Hi Mich!

It was nice to meet you! I always wanted to see your wheels in person. Looks very nice! :) They look similar to mine. :)
I'm sorry to hear about the doording. :( Do you have to repaint it or do you find a cheaper way? There are too many careless people around. :( You could have called the Police and get him. But the time spent...

I think the main reason why the Swiss car's have quite a good front paint is that we're only allowed to drive 120 km/h on the Autobahn where it's booring to drive an NSX. :)

It was nice to meet you and we hope to see you the next meeting again.

Greetings,
Thomas
