I just got my InV1si mirror from Jim Powell (Jim is great, the InV1si is a work of art). What's the best/easiest way to run the wire up the A-pillar to the mirror? I'd like to avoid having to remove the headliner and console if at all possible! Any tips or tricks on how to tuck the wire under the headliner would be a big help.

TIA.

I just did this- it's not too hard, unless you want to get really fancy:

Take off the part to the left of the steering column, through which the A/C flows to the door- there should be screws exposed when the door is open. Run the cable from the fuse box through to the dashboard, right in front of the pillar- it should poke through. Pull the wire through- 4 or 5 feet worth.

I read that you can get the molding off the pillar, but I just used a popsicle stick to push the flat cable into the front side of the molding- it slid right in.

I did the same thing with the top piece- it just slides right up under the molding. Leave enough hanging to get to the mirror, of course.
