Installed Tires Inside Out!

Just got new Yokohama tires for my NSX.

Had them installed today- but could not pick up until seven. The car was outside and it was dark. Once I got home I discovered that front and back were installed inside-out! Despite me reminding the tech. that the tires were uni-directional.

I drove about 10 miles on them- any chance of damage?

thanks

Rich

If they are the oem tires, you are correct, they will be left side specific, and directional. So I take it they have the left rear on the right rear, and am guessing that the arrows are the right way, but the outside tread will actually be on the inside. 10 miles will do nothing. Take it back, and they should re-mount and balance for free.

If they are not oem spec Yoko's, then they may only be directional.

No, they won't be damaged from driving to and from the tire dealer that way. Like Tom said, just take them back and have them re-mounted and re-balanced for free.

I wanted to take them back today but the manager has only one tech he would trust with my car, same one who put them on inside-out!

well at least there were no marks on the rim-

yes they are OEM
