I made my own Crank Pully Tool

I spent four hours yesterday making my own Crank pully tool. I tried to pull it with an IR 650ft/lb impact but it would not budge. I needed the holder now and I really like making tools so I just made it. It worked great. Just thought you guys would enjoy seeing the pics. ...

- immediately brought fond memories of my Dad who would do stuff like that. I remember a hub-puller he made - think it's still in my Mum's garage back home - was made for a on-time use project & still there 30-odd years later!
It's a big investment to buy a tool that will see limited use, so it's a great asset to have the wherewithall to do this.
Fortunately we also have some members on the board who have generously offered the use of theirs for the price of shipping.
 
I probably won't be making any more of these. Once money gets involved, the fun goes away.

But I will offer it as a loaner if anyone needs one.
