Yes Silver was my first choice, I like Black and Red, but they are both hard to keep looking great.

I will let you know if I ever drive over to Chicago, I usually try to avoid it if I can though because of the traffic. Maybe we could meet at Gingerman sometime this spring or summer.

LoL.... I cant afford such a nice car, the wife would divorce me and take it just to spite me.

Those guy's are Kerry Getz a pro skate boarder, and Ryan Gee he shoots video for him self and the Jackass boy's. You probably have seen them on Jackass quite a bit, someone loaned them the car to drive, but they also have some nice rides.
They both have done the Gumball 3000 a few times.

I have the greatest wife of all! She just tells me I deserve it and to do it, she actually wanted me to buy a McLaren F1. I think that will be my next car, I wish there was more to choose from though.

Mine thinks I am a juvenile that will never grow up. :biggrin:

The McLaren F1 is the most pimp car that there is, what other car can look so good, be so fast, and can fit you and 2 other women in it.

I say DO IT!!!!!! You will never lose money on that car. :smile:

Congrats, was over at Aristocrat in KC a few months ago looking at the new 997s and they let me see the silver CGT hidden in the back. They said it was sold to a collector. They must of got another one allocated. I hear they are starting to discount them now, any truth to that?

I am still in the market for the McLaren, I just haven't found the right one yet. I think if I bought one I would have to modify my house to let me park it in the living room.

I think the deal might of fallen through on the CGT they had in the back because that is the one that I bought. They have a 2005 coming in March and I don't think they want to have two on the floor. And yes I have found some dealers selling them under sticker for the 2004's. The local dealer was willing to drop the price by 9K, but Aristocrat sold it for 34K under sticker. It seems like they are starting to sell pretty well now though as when I started looking there was about a dozen for sale and now most of them are gone.

Great color and car choice!No stinken paddle shifts!my only change would be a different shift knob,wood is not my personal choice in that cockpit.The hardest thing will be getting a set of track tires and wheels to fit,the stockers are dubs!

That wood shift knob seems out of place to me also, but who the heck cares!

It sounds like we have similiar tastes I really wanted the six speed, but I agree the only thing that doesn't seem to fit with the car is that big wood shift knob. I hope it has standard threads because I think I will be changing mine. I could probably get an eight ball and have it tapped to fit. :biggrin:
