I just bought a Carrera GT!

Friday I sent the deposit and Monday I am sending over the balance. They are shipping the car on Tuesday and should have it later in the week.

I can't wait to see the car in my garage! I will post pictures after it arrives.

Just wanted to release some of this built up energy! I think I am going to go crazy waiting for a perfect day here in Michigan to take it out for a little test drive.

BTW it is a new 2004 that I bought from a Porsche dealer in Kansas City.

Cogradulations on the purchase ....i just recently heard and saw a short video clip of the car and now waiting to see and hear one in person. My friend owns a exotic car rental business and should be getting one soon. :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin:

I think I saw the same clip and that really got my attention. I was given the name of a guy who recently bought one locally here and after talking to him I was sold.

He used to race cars professionaly and now also owns an Enzo, he said that he likes the GT better than the Enzo and if he was only able to have one it would be the Porsche. I am going to try and go over to his house in the spring and get some pictures of all of the cars together.

I don't think I would go that far, but after seeing it in person I wasn't nearly as excited about it. Every time I see the Carrera GT I like it more, I hope this pattern changes once I take delivery of it or I might start sleeping in the garage.

those wheel nuts will fit on one side only. Porsche made them different colors so that you dont forget where which nut goes.
