#1266 will be invading my Porsche garage. I inked the deal today and will be picking it up October 19 when I go to Texas for the F1 race. It's been a long, patient wait, but I got exactly what I wanted and get to have a long road trip to get it home. So stoked!

Gorgeous, job well done!

Congratulations!

Pretty certain you will be anxiously counting down the hours and days until you travel to pick it up

Please post up about your experiences and thoughts about it after your drive home.

I'm taking my son to the F1 race. It will be our first. He is a huge fan.

The last time we were in Texas together, we flew down to pick up our ('95) NSX.

COTA is fantastic and Austin puts on a great weekend. I have been to all of them there, and all but one when F1 was at Indy. Fortunately the one I missed was the tire year when only six cars took the grid. The McLaren Merc the first year at Indy had a unique exhaust setup and when it came down the front straight at 21000 rpm it had this glorious, deafening, unreal sound. The new cars aren't as cool sounding but F1 weekends are still unique and a lot of fun.

Thats a cool story about you and your son. Coincidently when I told my dad I bought the car today he asked to go with me to pick it up. We haven't been to a race or on a long road trip together in 30 years. It's going to be a blast. He went to a track day with me in my 930 a couple weeks ago and I think the car bug bit him again.

Awesome color! Congrats. What interior color did you choose?

Orchid. I've usually favored black but I think the white really pops against the blue. This is a mid-option car with CF roof, aniline power seat, sound/nav upgrade (like the stereo will ever be on), headliner, gray interwoven wheels.

I'm not a fan of CC brakes so this one was spot on what I wanted. The performance and unsprung weight of CCB are great, but you have to be really careful with them or they can get ruined very easily. I do all my own car work.

The pics I'm posting are from the dealer. I'll get some more when I pick it up.

Hey #1264 here! Congrats on the new NSX!

Thanks. I see you're in Vegas. I'll be there next week. I hope those close to you are safe. Thoughts and prayers to all affected today.

Had a great time at COTA this weekend after picking the car up Thursday. 1100 miles later, she's dirty but she's home. Hoping to get all three out for some pics together this weekend.

Subscribed for pics of all three soon!
Congrats to you again for getting her home safely.

And I thought I had a great time in Austin this weekend! Congrats on your new ride, it looks great. Haven't seen one NSX in Austin since we've been here, new or old.:frown:

I have to ask, how many times did you tell yourself,"This thing is smooth!"?

I keep thinking I don't need any other sports cars incl my 1st gen. Wanting is a different story and buying is the easy part, it takes effort to sell something
