Acure NSX Prototype on the track - I saw a couple of other threads that had some spyshots but this one actually has some good pictures which aren't obstructed.

In the article it mentioned the production number of NSX dropped to 10 cars a day. I wonder what these 200 hand selected workers do after they completed the job for the day and what a waste idling such a specially built factory. So is the S2000 being built at the NSX factory nowadays?

NSX production started with 25 cars per day and ended with 2 cars per day.
nope, s2k is built at suzuka now.
which is where the last of the NSX's (with a S in the end of the vin) were built...
If it's a mule, it's testing the mechanicals only. There's no way they would build it and have it look anything like that.

I'm late to the party but have been squinting at the pics in these threads, praying for a sliver to think it could still be mid-engined.
Then I looked at this pic...
There's something behind the front seats in the passenger compartment with them....and it's not an engine.

I think we can all put to rest the notion that it might still be mid-engined. Face it everyone......it's a front engined GT car! All we can hope for now is that it performs exceptional and looks great. (nothing like the ASCC i hope!)
