Honda Sports Modulo NSX

IMO, it has the same problem as all the non-stock wings--the jarring interface between the stock uprights and the aftermarket wing that doesn't line up. They all look kind of tacked-on and tacky. Aesthetically, you can't beat the stock wing.

Now that everyone's decided they don't like it, more pics for everyone's enjoyment.

Oh no I like it I just don't care for the fitment.

As far as others not liking it the NSX crowd never wanted Honda to change anything but the power. When the 02+ came out they didn't like the looks of that and people complained they ruined the lines of the car. Now lookee plenty of 02+ conversions.

People didn't care much for the looks of the 02+ Type R hood and spoiler and now most people have it. Same will probably hold true for this spoiler.

I noticed a Type R looking seat and suspension pieces plus some rotors and according to the article Honda plans on selling new aftermarket "parts" so I imagine those will be for sale as well. Did you take any pics of those other parts or get any specs? Also any links for prices or where to buy Modulo parts? Thanks!

Agreed except for the Type R ( which is factory  ) OEM and the Procar which so far is the only aftermarket that fits like factory

Well, I guess it is nice that there are still new things being offered for the NSX ... as the world patiently waits for the 2nd generation .....

IDK perhaps the flu I have has affected me but I like it. I think it looks more modern and up to date than the R wing. I wish there was a straight angle shot from the rear.

+1 The only aftermarket wing I would MAYBE go with is the comptech. The problem with that is you need the wing and rear fenders.

Eh you have an 02+ with Type R parts. You have flip ups to be truly repulsed

This statement is incorrect. Look at some pics from NSXPO. The most popular wing is the stock one.

Nice. Will get one when I come back from study.
I dont remember how much but here are the other parts available for the nsx

Hey Thanks Joseph. From what I can read it seems like all the parts were designed in unison for "running stability"?? Looks like they were trying to improve rear end stability and once they did had to retune the suspension to complement it then upgraded the brakes.

The Type R hood and rear spoiler work together so I wonder if this would work better or worse with a R hood??

Be interesting to see how much these seats are in comparison to the Type R's

Well I guess we could consider that a random sampling of the community and say there were more stock flat rear spoilers so therefore it is more popular. Therefore I'll retract my earlier statement and say the R spoiler has become more popular than early comments about it let on as the community grew to like it:biggrin:

I still really like it though and with the wall chart showing it to be functional I definitely would like one just don't like that gap on the sides:mad:

ugggly! i don't like the NSX-R hood either... the NSX-R wing i love however and always have... and always found the redesign to be nice.

Makes me think of Pagani Zonda!

Yes the Pagani spoiler is different but still makes me think of it.

Think my dick just twitched, spoiler porn!

@WingZ
Thanks for the compliments
76 spoiler sold worldwide speaks an own language,.

BTW.....the modulo wing is on the way to germany.....so a Procar Replica will be available soon too......with factory fitment and lighter than the Original.
Lets wait and see.

Am I the only one who likes the OEM wing? Even the NSX-R wing ruins the lines of the car...

I agree totally - the only reason I would get the R wing is if I was making an R clone. Like a few others on the site. Otherwise - i don't understand body kits or anything like that. They look great stock - imho.
