Ahh...got it,brickdds (of course, I know what channelling is, but I just wasn't sure why me.. LoL)!!

speedometer/odometer affected with 4.23?

I'm sure this question has been answered before, but will the 4.23 (or 4.55) change the speedometer and odometer acccuracy? What actually provides the info for speedometer and odometer? I seem to remember a posting that said the readouts are affected but a final drive change, but now I am hearing otherwise.

No.

The rate of rotation of the rear tires.

Perhaps you are thinking of a post about changing tire size resulting in a change in the outside diameter of the tire, which does affect the accuracy of the speedometer and odometer - and also has a similar effect on performance as changing the gearing. (That's why it's sometimes referred to as changing the "effective gearing".)

Just curious then; who is "KS" as referenced by the entry in the FAQ.
Someone who learned more about gearing and acceleration since writing that five years ago.

why is erroneous information being allowed to stand as gospel without being corrected/eliminated?
Because Lud does the best he can just incorporating new information, and monitoring/administering NSXprime, and attending to his career, etc., and can't always keep everything absolutely up to date and perfect.

FAQ updates

If someone will take the time to e-mail me and explain specifically what needs to be fixed, I will fix it as soon as I have a chance. Please understand that "as soon as I have a chance" may not be the immediate future.
