Hesitation after sitting

I need some help from the good forum people. I have had my 95 Targa put away since early November and today the itch had to be scratched.

When I stored it I put it on plastic sheeting, it is parked on carpeting, and I put some Sta-bil in a full tank of gas.

Today I took it out and noticed it was missing or hesitating when I stepped on it. Once I got to 5000 rpm it felt relatively normal. But, at the low end of the power band it jerked and hesitated.

My immediate thoughts were:

1. Moisture in the gas tank and/or the Stabil burning up
2. A plug wire that a mouse got at (but I checked and could not see any visual evidence of this
3. A bad plug (though the plugs only have about 15k miles on them)

I am not a mechanic and beyond the simple oil change I let most things to professionals. One last piece of info, when I drove it last before parking it in my garage, it was running superbly, as it had been since I got it mid summer of last year.

That is it, any suggestions, comments, thoughts? I am a little freaked out by this so I hope it is something simple.

Oddly enough, I let it sit in the sun for an hour, cleaned some of the grime off, and then I started it up. I thought I would take it around the block before I put it away for another month or two and when I took it out, it was back to normal.

Revs were good, power tremendous as usual. Now I just need it to stay warm and no more snow so I can keep driving it.
