Head Light Upgrade for 91 model

Driving the other night, and realized the headlights left a bit to be desired, I'm sure upgrades are available, I do not want to get into a major conversion, but was hoping there were upgrades in Bulbs that were somewhat a plug & play, what have others done??

It is a projection housing, doesn't get much better besides intelligent xenon which does not exist in any kits, though you can buy high intensity bulbs and generic xenon/kits. I duno if it causes to excess electric load.

Go Xenon. Stay away from any high wattage direct replacement bulbs. Those 85/100 watt bulbs can destroy your wiring.

I have a set of those 55w HIDs from Synergy. I need to update their thread but they are ungodly bright WHITE. As a matter of fact, for some reason or another only one fired (easy fix, turn off, then back on) the other night and that one light alone was brighter than the regular old stock headlights together. I didn't even realize one didn't fire until I got behind a SUV with chrome bumper and saw only one light on.
