You know that black and white sticker in the door jam with weight info and bar code?

Mine Lists "GVWR 3550lbs" Is the car heavier than i thought or is this something else?

Check your car. It also lists what i think are front and rear weights...not 50-50 if thats what it means

aren't our cars 42-58 or 44-56? I saw it in a recent Car and Driver I think where they tested the NSX and a few other nicer cars.

GVWR = Government Weight Regulations?? Probably the Total gross weight with passengers/equipment.

It is kind of like the maximum capacity for your favorite restaurant or club. The max that can be handled safely.

In other words, if the coupe weighs ~3000lbs, then passengers and luggage should not exceed 500lbs according to Honda and the NHTSB.
