Did a search but did not find the specific topic. Anyone know where in the shop manual the replacement process is described? Or maybe an exploded diagram. Some say remove the bumper?, others say go through the wheel-well liner? What do you say?

you probably can go thru the fender liner but it so easy to take the front bumper off either body style that its worth it.
after the bumper is off you need to remove the AC ducts both sides and then there are 4 bolts that hold the condersors to the fan 8 in total.
I think that its possible to remove the bolts holding the fans in place but I forget.
I think the Nut side of the bolt is in front of the condensors but I am not sure.
I have pics at home PM with your e-mail and I can send you the pics before the fans are removed to confirm. hope this helps.

The thought of taking the front bumper off scared the hell out of me so I did it through the wheel well and underneath the fender. But it was years ago and, to be honest, I just about gave up on it a couple of times but was encouraged by another Prime user (can't remember the name) who had done it. The issue is that you're removing bolts by feel. Looks much easier to access with the bumper off but I'd be worried that I'd never get it back on right.
