well, then the 50mm adapter pipes will surely put a dent in the air flow, not a good thing then...
Unbearably loud? I have the same setup that you used to have (test pipes), along with dc headers, and find that it isn't loud enough...... When I had my straight pipe exhaust (no mufflers, test pipes) that was borderline unbearably loud, pretty sweet though. JGCT with no cats, for me at least, gives me the mix of comfort/aggressiveness that I wanted. I'm only 22 though so maybe I have a higher tolerance To be fair I haven't heard the car from the outside. I may need to have a friend do a few drive bys to see how annoying this car really is. The car is fairly well insulated, so the loudness doesn't seem overbearing, even with the windows down.......
I am trying to decide on these exhausts.

JGTC Parrallel Exhaust

It seems that the GTLW would be the better exhaust since its lighter but I wanted some opinions on people who have previously owned either one of these. Thanks in advance.

I have heard both and I have the GTLW on my 97 NSX. I personally prefer the GTLW for the great sound, low mass and great performance. I watch this board often and see many people get other exhaust systems and then sell them for the GTLW. Go for it.
I bought a JGTC for my last NSX after a good amount of research. My new one came with a GTLW. I just sold it and bought a JGTC. Although I'm a huge fan of weight reduction, I loved the sound (and looks) of the JGTC more than the 12 additional pounds I would have saved with the GTLW. (The JGTC is still over 13 lbs. lighter than stock.)
I completely agree with Ponyboy. I would have considered some of the GT-ONE models if I could hear them in person. It's a personal thing as you can see by the responses in this thread from those who have had both.
Go to a meet, listen, decide. Being in SoCal, you should have no problem evaluating a wide range of exhausts.

here's my GTLW!!
I've heard the GTLW a lot, and from the outside it has a nice mean growl. From the inside, there is a lot of drone and resonance which is a little annoying.
I am trying to decide on these exhausts.
