Puny side bolsters, lacks head rests (safety), and has little leg room.
Sounds like it's good for carrying small animals, children, amputees, and contortionist. And who gets to use the cup holder in the back if 2 passengers are thristy (or is that a pencil holder?)

Here's a 4 seater car that has more supporting side bolsters, seat belts in the correct position, adjustable headrest, head height, leg room like a 4 door saloon.
Can anyone guess what it might be?

They still they have more side bolstering than the ZR1's front seats. Funny you should attack the GTR on the seats topic, seeing as how the corvette has the worst seats in the entire industry. Might as well have just said your full of it instead of posting this. Posted by a corvette owner "1. Seats completely blow! Based on your very disappointing posts, i dont really understand why you have an NSX. You dont seem to appreciate exclusivity, technology (GTR/NSX) and prefer instead, racing people in a straight line/ seeing how much HP and cylinders you have. Your 90's Honda has better interior (nappa leather vs whatever the vette has), higher quality panels (aluminum vs plastic), and more advanced suspension (all aluminum double wishbone independent vs leafsprings) than the more expensive 2010 ZR1.

I would be ashamed of you if I were the other NSX owners on this board. You are the type of person that ruins cars resale values and lets people on the street know the NSX has finally fallen from it's once high ranks way down to ricer status.

Some shots of my GT-R. It runs 10.92 @ 127 with only a flash tune. Everything else is stock.
The Black GT-R (sleepdoc's) runs 10.01 @ 138mph with only a tune, full exhaust and E85. He also kills everything on the road course.

Like I mentioned before if anyone is interested in anything related to the GT-R head over to NAGTROC and read up, there is a lot of information available (even information related to the heavy creases behind the front fenders)
At the end of the day either someone likes the car or they don't, there is not much more to it than that.
Not a valid comparison since the only thing that looks similar are tail lights, plus that Cobalt is modded to the gills with a wide body kit, and the front looks nothing a like. Almost any coupe with 4 circular tail lights will look similar except the GTR has been using the "afterburner" style tailights for decades.
It looks more like the skyline than nissan's other car line up.
I don't agree, if you put the R34 and the R35 side by side, you can clearly see the evolution of the two cars. I would say the Cobalt is the one that bit off the GTR's trademark look, not the other way around since the R34 has been around since 1999.

so on a tangent here, a colleague bought a used hennessey gtr700. I looked online and i guess it has new turbos and intercoolers, plus a tune. No transmission work. Is there likely to be a transmission problem? Thats a lot of power, but then again, the NSX transmission seems to take 500 rwhp just fine for quite a while... and the ford GT transmission holds 850rwhp no problem.. and the supra holds 600 no problem..
