GB: NSX-R Wing Carbon Fiber 10 pcs ONLY

I'm a little confused after looking closely at these pictures.
The pic shown in the first post looks like the front edge of it is rounded off and yet the ones in the link provided on Zero-Cool and Bio's car looks more like it is squared off. More like the DF version.
Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me or it is the angle of the shot of the part but they clearly look different in that area.
Can someone clarify that for me?
Thanks

I think the Seibon wing is more like the Downforce DF-R version where the front "legs" of the wing are shortened and squared off so that they don't extend past the indentations in the trunk lid where the original wing sat. I believe the true NSX-R wing had longer legs that protruded further forward on top of the trunk lid.

FWIW, the brake light wire coming out the wrong side was not that big of a deal. Snaking the wire to the other side and grabbing it with a "coat hanger hook" took like 4 minutes total from removal of the LED lamp to screwing it back on. It was ANNOYING, but not insurmountable. Now, I considered how hard it would be to relocate the wiring from one side of the trunk to the other, and if I had to do that, I would have been pissed!

Excellent description of my concern.

Just got mine from Greg. Packing was great and the wing looked awesome. I would definately buy again. However, I experienced the same problems every one else had with the wiring... it took me much longer than 4 minutes to sort it out... but I got it done. Also, the 2 of the holes on the passenger side didn't line up so it's only being held on by 2 bolts... Looks pretty good. Fitment is also good.

Just make sure it is properly secured! Something that takes that kind of beating at 170 mph (ergh, with you, maybe 65 ;) ) can come off. Washers and all that are really important.

PS: We gotta compare.. and can you comment on the drag impact?

No Zak, all of the complaints regarding the wiring above are for the 4th brake light that is on this wing.

i actually didnt mean to ask that at all
my mind is elsewhere today

Dave, do u have pics what it looks like with the third brake light in it ?

Haha!!

Sorry Zak I'm not laughing at you, that just came across funny..

I just had an image of myself on a conference call. I find myself "zoning out" and thinking about all things related to the NSX (I need a job where I'm not in front of the computer almost all day) and I can just imagine what would happen if I blurted something out after they ask for my thoughts. Then when the crickets start to chirp I would say "I actually didn't mean to ask that at all" LOL

Hey Greg, I've been waiting for a couple weeks and have all ready paid, do you have any in stock yet?

I'm also waiting for any news almost a month...

Just picked mine up thanks Greg. Took me ~10 minutes to install. I took my time, with very minor problems. I have the newer version of the spoiler, where the 3rd brake light is screwed on vice double sided taped on. I only had (2) problems. One was that I had to remove the rubber stopper piece holder the wires together (easily removed by your neighborhood grocery store savings card), and the wiring color code is different. The car was green with white stripe, and black. The spoiler was black with white stripe, and black. Obviously you can tell which wire matches up. And the wires are on the correct side on the spoiler (left). Very easy install. Thanks again Greg.
