Forza 3!!!

My gamer tag is CozmoXP. I sent requests to those of you that posted yours in this thread.

I have two midterms and have spent too much time playing the game already in the past two days...the game is a ton of fun with all the options you get now. So far my weapon of choice is the 2005 NSX...it's just demolishing everything.

Edit: You can change the cockpit view.

http://www.forzacentral.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33049

Go into the multiscreen settings:
multiscreen on
mode host
channel 0 will do
view center
degrees hidden 0 or just play around with it
degrees between screens 62 or whatever you want

the more degrees you have between screens, the farther it goes back...it's not really a fix, but it does work for those who hate the sitting position in the game.

Check the rest of the site for any forza stuff as well, it's pretty good and the guys on there are really cool! I'm on there as well, but under my old alias: Brown Chaos.

I'm getting my ass kicked by the people who plays with the steering. Apparently it shaves seconds off a lap vs using a controller. Also I don't like how the multiplayer is setup. You cannot customize the game, so you cannot make other players into ghost. Also the people online are cry baby's, I nudged the guy once because he nudged me first and now they can vote to kick you off the game even though i haven't done so in other games. They realy need to revamp the multiplayer. It is still fun though.

damn the type R is expensive, i could've bought lesser cars many times over before i was able to get my hands on a NA2 type R.

Check the auction house before buying any cars. I just bought an NSX-R GT for 20,000 credits buyout price! That is normally 900,000 in the game, which I would not be able to buy for a long damn time.

I just looked and there's like a billion NSX-R GT's for sale. Tons of them with a buy it now price of less than 50k. Very strange.

EDIT: Maybe that car is one of the gifts you get in the game which might explain the number for sale..

yes you get the nsx-r GT as a gift when you hit level 13 or 14 i forgot.

Have you tried the itlian rally track! It's my now most favorite track in the whole game. Racing on it sucks because it's just too curvy not enough room to pass comfortably but when you run it yourself in like a time trial it's a blast.

Also if you go into the oval test track they got gymkhana layouts within it. Where they put cones, barries, and airplane hangers, helipads around the track and you could try out your drifting skills around/through these objects:). I'll be making a video soon hehe, this is going to be fun :).

After having been a grand turismo fan forever (played all of them from GT1-GT4), I couldn't wait any longer. I bit the bullet and picked up an Xbox360 and forza 3 last night. It's awesome, and a bunch of the guys in my group at work play multiplayer nightly, so really looking forward to that!

This is a very good game. I made my actual cars and they look pretty darn accurate. My rims are not exact but they are passable. It would be cool to race NSX owners in their NSXs. Mine is a 423 C rated car.

Spoiler Alert.

WAAAAIIIIIIIT - this is a list of cars you get as you progress through the game and get to a higher driver level...the NSX R GT is 900k BUT you win it at level 14!!!

So don't waste your money!

and Yes. The multiplayer issue is being worked on, so it won't be for too long.

It isn't really a waste if you find a cheap one. I bought my GT for less money than the regular 97 NSX cost. I saw GTs with buyout prices as low as 15k last night.

Fair point, but I suppose i did gear it more towards the people who are buying Veyron's and Reventons for 500 - 600k on the auction house. I was just using the NSX R as an example I suppose lol.

Glad to see you finally gave in to the dark side :)

So how far are you guys? I just finished the 2nd season last night. I'm level 12 or so. I'm trying to do a few races each night.

Currently am half way season 3. I think I just hit level 15... Although one thing I can't believe people is that there are some people who are already level 50!?! Holy crap they must play all day and night non stop since launch.

Or they were playing before launch. OR they have roomates and have been taking turns playing.

Am I the only one who preferred the vehicle handling dynamics of Forza 2? Forza 3 seems to be a little bit more numb... although it does make it much easier to control cars overall.

Ok, now I feel like a freak for being at level 36. I have not played any online which makes it easier to level. I am not sure why I keep wanting to get to the next level as I have enough points to buy and mod whatever car I want. I guess it goes back to my days of playing the original Gran Turismo. For some reason GT1 and 2 sucked me in and made me play them to completion.

We should set up some races. Something with restrictions in class and assists and we could all join. For example a RWD A class race with all assists off except for abs.

It felt more numb to me as well; though I've only played the demo. I bought Forza II in preparation for Forza III.

I would say forza 2 was a lot more forgiving than forza 3. I play both with all assist off except abs and in forza 2, my nsx-r has over 400hp and it would grip. Now in forza 3 I have a NSX-R GT which has more grip than a standard R and with only 360hp, you have to be a lot more careful with throttle modulation. Also bumps and elevation changes are much more brutal and less forgiving. You slam on the brakes too hard even with abs, and the rear wants to come around. I can use to almost floor every turn in Forza 2 even with all assist off because the roads was a lot more smoother and the elevation chanages was not as severe. In Forza 3 I'm even forced to race online with all asist on because the online play sucks!! You can't force rules such as no assist and there is collision. Once they nudge you, you go flying off the track in this game. I use the assist as a safety net for those situation.
