I got my tablemate a few days ago. It is a bit wobbly but certainly much better than the wheel sitting on my lap! I don't mind the MS wheel so I'm going to make sure to never try anything else hehe

I really dislike the cockpit view on the forza3 demo (Compared to Shift at least). The lag between steering input and when the wheel on the screen turns was too much for me and was messing me up. The hood view worked out a lot better.
 
Nice. That course looks like a lot more fun than the track in the demo.
 
I tested Forza 3 at the Los Angles E3? event.

Good game, has one of the better driving dynamics (much better than GT Prologue, and GT4) -and you have to balance the car between under and oversteer.

I'd say its one to get.
 
oh i can't wait, too bad the cockpit view of the nsx looks horrible, but the track looks super smooth and almost life like.
 
Oh i have my limited edition reserved and picking it up at 10 AM. I think the interior will look a little better in person on my HDTV with an HDMI cable. Anyone need someone to play with my gamer tag is ThatNinja171 and I'll be in one of the five different NSX's available. Peace.
 
I could've picked it up this afternoon if I hadn't been home sick today. :frown:

i wonder what car will everyone be using? I'll be using an nsx =)
 
Just picked up my copy. :smile: My son was asking to race cars last night so maybe I'll use that as an excuse to play some tonight. :biggrin: He's going to be a race car driver for halloween and insists on putting on the costume and playing games on the racing wheel hehe.
 
I agree just picked up my copy yesterday I was hooked. I had to resist temptation to keep playing cause I have to work in the morning :(. Definitely going to do some more racing tonight.

We should do a NSXprime race :). Those were fun when we set it up a couple of years back.
 
damn the type R is expensive, i could've bought lesser cars many times over before i was able to get my hands on a NA2 type R.
 
I chose the fit too as my first car. I saved all the money from every race until i had enough to get the 97 nsx. Now it is up to mid 400's HP which is pretty scary compared to those slow little hatches I was driving before. :biggrin: Threw on the Enkei RPF1's of course too.

I don't like the cockpit view, but the hood view is nice.

My only gripe is the model for the pre 02 NSXs.... I was hoping they would of made it look better but they didn't. They left it with the same really boxy looking body and low attention to details. IMO it doesn't look right and you could tell if you switch between the pre 02 and the 02+ model. The A and B piller angles aren't the same although they should be, the hood on the pre 02 has a buldge but the 02 doesn't, these inconsistencies really bother me.. maybe I should email turn 10 see if they could release an update with a corrected car model lol.
 
What cool features are in the game that aren't evident in the demo? The visuals were stunning in the demo. I picked up a used copy for forza II for 12 bucks at game stop in preparation for forza III. Coming from a the GT series, the unrealistic sensitivity to oversteer in 150hp FR cars annoyed the hell out of me at first. I just started avoiding cars that over steered too much since tuning it usually destroyed the handling dynamics. I do like the damage component and telemetry. I race with almost all driver aids (tcs I leave on if it's too high powered RWD) off which makes it challenging even if the race is easy to place 1st in.
 
I noticed that there was no 91 nsx in forza2 and it looks like there isn't in forza3 either. What's the deal? :confused: You get 97+, and a 92 NSX-R.
