My family finally bought an NSX. We just bought it recently. Although I'm a little sad that it's an auto (my mom doesn't know how to drive manual) but it's nice nonetheless. It's a 91 NSX red, has 4000 clicks (very low) and we bought it for $50, 000, I think that's a good price for a practically new NSX, everything is in mint condition. I live in Brampton, just 30mins north of toronto.

I'm currently looking for rims. Know anywhere good? The ones that are on it is hideous.

I'm thinking of switching my 2003 OEM (17") rims, we could make a deal for RIMs and tires.

Email me.

Dude!
I'm not insane~just crazy!

Anything smaller than 17" won't even fit on my car!

I'm thinking of getting something new/used in 17/18s but when I do I'll have a set of 03's to sell.

thought u had lost ur mind haha

Hi guys, we bought it from Acura Sherway. Does smell kinda new. not sure if i want OEM rims. I was thinking of 17s in the front and 18s in the rear, more agressive look. Also, im a newb. So the rims must be larger than (for the front) X" x7" and for the rear X"x8"? is that correct, as long as the rim size is proper? but the width must be the same or larger?

ah ya im well familiar with the one at Sherway bought that they sold it a while ago

congrats on the purchase again it was a really really clean car

Congrats on your new car! The rim width will depend on the width of the tire you want to put on there. A common setup for 17/18 is to put 225 up front and 265 in the rear which maintains your TCS ratio and fills in the wheel well so that the rears are more flush with the quarter panel rather than being inset.

If you keep 215's up front, you can use anything between 7"-8". I've got 225's and I'm running 7.5" in the front.

For rears, I'm running 265, and for this you can use 8.5" - 10". For an 8" wheel, the largest recommended size is 245. Hope that helps.

It sounds like it was an essentially new car with miles so low it had not reached its first oil change interval!!

i believe that was the case i went to see the car a while ago dont remember the real story behind it y it wasnt driven but at the time they were asking a crazy price
i guess now they finally realized they wouldnt sell it unless the price was dropped to reflect the market

if you wanna a good place to get rims for your car, look up speedstar...they are in Markham, Ontario and can get anything you want (keep it JDM)....their website is... speedstar.ca..ask for either Jonny or albert..tell them Nathan (me:biggrin: ) sent you.... great guys and very proffesional...

and welcome to the wonderful world of the NSX!!

Nate

Thanks for the info guys. Ya, it's pretty much mint. I believe it belonged to some collector guy, who I think died and so they sold it lol. not sure, but thanks to him i have an NSX that's basically new hehe. It even had the NSX luggage hehe.

Yep this car was in Sarina for about a year, then Sherway picked it up.

It was part of a collection....pretty much brand new.

Are you selling the Luggage ?
