Finally got my car!! Pics inside!

Thank you for posting up all the nice photos and CONGRATS, Ritesh!

I need to move closer to you...

Thanks guys!! That car is absolutely mind blowing fast. The worse part is trying to shift below 6K RPM for propre break in. I have another 350 miles to go then :biggrin::biggrin:.

Docjohn: LAMBO DOORS... LOL. No thanks. Not my taste. Heck the 12C's door are a potential for "wardrobe malfunction". My lovely wife and I went out for date night and I had to gently remind her that she would have a "Brittney" moment if she wasn't careful what she was wearing!! It took her a second to get that. We took the Mclaren out and went to a nice restaurant in town. A friend of ours who likes to wear REALLY REALLY short skirts was begging me to take her for a spin in it. I told her that it might be a good idea considering what she was wearing, that she might be flashing people when she gets out. She was so hammered so told me she could care less!!

Note to self...find Ritesh...stalk Ritesh and ingratiate myself with him and his frivolous friends.

what is the redline? How is the seat/driver position compared to the nsx?

Redline is 8500 RPM. Break in 5500 for the 1st 600 miles. I am at almost 300 miles as of today.

The car has plenty of leg room once you are in. Getting is a little tricky. I am 5' 11'' and find the car to have plenty of room. I would say anybody under 6' 3'' should fit in easily. The seats are quite comfortable and the side blosters are great but are designed for 200+ lbs guys. I weight 175 lbs and notice that I have a bit too much wiggle room in the seat. It isn't an issue on the street but might be on the track.

OH - Regarding your previous comment about Steel Vs. Carbon Ceramic brakes. The CC brakes on the Mclaren were just a bit too touchy for street use. They were fine if you are abusing them but otherwise I felt that they weren't nearly as good as the GT3's Ceramics. Another issue was that CC brakes on the McLaren weigh the same as the steelies since the rotors are bigger. Since this isn't going to be my "track car" I didn't see the logic in getting it. The main reason guys got it is for bling. They look awesome B/C they fill up the wheel well. That wasn't enough of a reason for me to justify the $16K!

Absolutely stunning! Thank you for sharing the photos and the information, nothing like hands on comments from an NSX owner to convey impressions of this majestic vehicle.

Congrats again Ritesh.
I'm so jealous.

And us Houstonians are still waiting for that invite.............

THANKS GUYS!!

To me the McLaren is what the NSX should have become if they kept evolving the NSX design. I will post a detailed review once I have some miles on her.

You are more than welcome to drop by..BUT it seems crazy to drive 200+ miles just to see the car. I am going to be in Houston 1st week or so of June for an Exotic car show. So you guys could see it then. I haven't really been pushing it since it is under 600 miles still.

Ritesh, do you plan on attending the cars and coffee?

option/spec' sheet?

Congratz'... glad all worked out & you seemingly got what you wanted (vs. CGT, F430/Scuderia, et al)! Park Place seem like solid peeps for sure. Look fwd to crossing paths soon, be safe man! :D

Love the color. Looks fantastic. Congrats.

Amazing! Congrats and enjoy. No one has worked harder to get to where they are. I only hope I can be back in Texas sometime soon to get a ride. ;)

I'm going to pass out like a teenage girl at a Justin Beiber concert.

I get hysterical around this car, which I consider to be the true successor to the NSX! The most desirable car in the world right now, IMO.

Dang.. I promised a full review. I am just over 2000 miles on the car. I will put together a full review in the next few days.

this car is absolutely pure sex....... i saw one in LA that was orange on top and the bottom half of the car was black. I did a U turn and had to talk to him... I said whats better, the 458 or your mclaren? He said "I sold my 458 to get this."

Speaks volumes. My dream car. congrats! Get a gopro hero2 and get some videos of driving it!

May I ask what's your profession?
