Ferrari + NSX "Spring Fling" Sign Up!

Gents,

There is one part in the first leg of the run which crosses over some very bumpy railroad tracks. I'm running 1.5" lowered with eibachs and this is not a problem, but if you have aftermarket front splitters + lowered, this may present an issue. Please let me know if you fall into this category. The only car I'm worried about right now is Johnny's. If you think you will have an issue, let me know and I can give you the specific place that I'm concerned about so you can see/test it for yourself. Absolute worst case is that people who cannot make the first leg can join us at the mid-point where we will break for 30 mins and do the second half of the run + lunch.

Arshad,

Please PM me the location of the tracks. I'll drive out there this week.

Johnny

can someone pm me there number (if they don't mind) because i don't know how to get to the car warehouse in milton. On top of that i have the film crew following me up.

Thanx

Omar

Omar, you should have received a PM from me with information on the starting point. You can click on the name of the place which will take you to their website where you can get their phone number. You can also click on the map link beside the name which will show you the location in google maps. Let me know if you need further information.

EDIT: Just sent you a PM with directions.

So the film crew is confirmed then? We should have over 40 cars on the run! We are going to break it up into run groups, so its probably best for the film cars to be at the back of their respective group. This will give them footage of cars ahead, as well as cars behind (of the following run group).

*** Important Please Read ***

Guys, everyone who is registered for this run should have received a PM from me with login details for more information on the starting location.

As noted on the website, the guided "behind the scenes" tour will start at 9:45am sharp, and I need to get a response from everyone indicating whether they plan on being there for the tour or not so we can give them a rough headcount. Latecomers can still enter the main showroom. As noted, actual drive will start at 10:30am.

So far I've only gotten one response! Regardless of whether you are planning to do the tour or not, please let me know either way so I have an idea. Thank you!

Does anyone have a free passenger seat that they wouldn't mind giving to some young enthusiasts who'd like to join us on the run? The first person I'd like to fill is Lucas who is going to be our official photographer for the event. If you have a seat, and don't mind someone joining you as navigator, please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you!

ROUTE DETAILS ARE NOW ONLINE!

Login to the website: www.manta.ca/springfling

and click on the "Download Route PDF" button. Use the login/password that was PM'd to you.

Please print off the directions/maps and bring it with you to the run. I will print off a few extra copies and bring it along just in case someone forgets.

Long range forecast looks good

Saturday: 17C, sunny with cloudy periods, 10% chance of rain. Friday also looks clear, so roads should not be wet from prior day either.

I'll post alternate plans if Sat changes to rain.

You guys could do the patented S2000 Salamander run as well seeing as you'll almost be up there.

I did it in the MINI today and was able to do it nearly 30 seconds faster than I could in my S2000.

God bless the MINI.

I keep hearing about the s2k guys doing the salamandar route, but I've never seen it mapped out. Do you guys have the route documented somewhere online?

Actually I don't think we have it online, but seeing as I put together the route I can send you the garmin GPS route?
