Well finally got around to painting my center console. This is quick pick i took while putting it back together. I also did the gel filter swap while i had the console apart.

Is there a how to on the blue filter thing?

not really, theres a few posts from other people that have done it.

1.) disssemble the center console
2.) Remove the stereo, climate control, and clock modules.
3.) Refer to the manual for disassembly of the stereo (the clock and climate control is fairly simple, but the stereo your going to have to remove the actual tape deck assembly to get to the display.
4.) Remove the orange filters and install the new filters (i used blue photographic gel filters that VrooooM gave me (thanks again man!)

I'll spend some time and take pictures and do a proper write up sometime this week.

Wanna get the blues

Theres the thread that has the walkthrough on how to change the light colors.

And no I havent changed the filter for the gauge cluster yet. But its the same process.

if your headlights are on when its not completely dark outsdie, can you see the time with the blue display, because the stock red display cant be seen unless its completely dark outside
