I know the casting is "not" closed for FF2.They are judging cars in 2 ways.Onsite location.In Cali which is over.Then Miami and New York.The casting will span over 2 months.The second way will be by professionally prepared promotional portfolio's that can be e-mailed or mailed.
Something tells me showing up onsite will hold more weight.As far as the movie ruining the cars image that is debatable and would only cause a lenghty annoying post.Maybe a post should be started.
IN YOUR OPINION SHOULD THE NSX APPEAR IN THE FF2 "AND WHY"??? I'D LIKE TO SEE WHAT ATTITUDES DRIVE THE CONSERVATIVES.

PS... If it helps the NSX will be "one of the bad guys cars".

PSS.. They are specifically looking for widebodied cars as "all" the lead cars
Supra,Skyline(the star),NSX etc...
There will be other cars but suposedly the camera will focus on widebodies as the stars and co-stars.

THE ACTUAL CARS THAT STAR AND CO-STAR IN FF2 WILL DOUBLE AND TRIPLE THERE STREET VALUE.THIS WAS TRUE FOR FF1 AND WILL BE EVEN MORE SO FOR FF2 .THE BUDGET FOR FF2 IS TREMENDOUS COMPARED TO FF1.AND THE MOVIE IMO WILL BE MUCH BETTER.A LOT MORE PLANNING,A BETTER DIRECTOR WITH MORE TALENT IMO.

Hope the price for regular NSX's don't go up too much. Still saving up for mines.

I honestly don't think the movie will do much for the NSX, especially if its the bad guy's car. (Which means that it will lose at least once in the movie, and maybe even to slower vehicles in real life). This will be good for the skyline since its the "good" guy. I mean, think about FF1, the Supra got all the press, not the S2000, eclipse etc. Plus, I would HATE to see a gangster type person driving an NSX with neon lights in the cockpit and underneath the car. If the NSX was the good guy's car, maybe it'll help. If its really the bad guy's car, well...... I guess we'll just have to see....

I think the Black S2000 in FF1 was awesome, i really like it and it was a bad guys car.

But yeah the RX-7 and Supra got the most fame.

bru ha ha as unrealistic as the movie was.it was just that a f#$%ing movie.you know hollywood.. not real a minor deversion from the real world.I dont see why some of you are getting your panties in a twist.I hope its a box office smash.I would love for my NOT riced out NSX to go up in value cause some kid wants that cool car he saw at the movies and dad will foot the bill.if you look at the box office gross to cost of making the first one,hell yes they will make a second.oh and dont forget the telivision series.they are already talking about a new show for the coming year pitched as fast and furious meets miami vice.and look how miami vice destroyed the image of all those well to do ferrari owners cars.bet they were real upset that there car was 'favored' buy drug lords.what about when tony montana from scare face was buying a porche and the sales guy asked him if he wanted the optional machine gun mounts.those porches were really devalued and im sure all you guys that owned one was fearful the neighbors thought you were a drug dealer.IS this sinking in.your upset cause your car is in a race movie..give me a break.if you dont want the nsx image tarnished drive it like a civil person in REAL LIFE.does anyone remember having to deal with the dance craze movies,every chick in the club dressed like the flash dance girl.the vietnam movies the gangster movies.horror movie sequel 10 the final not so final sequel.or how about willam shatner wearing a girdle and bones looking like well bones.you think they made all those startrek movies for the die hard fans..nope for the die hard fans money!not only will it succeed but spawn a host of movies that make IT look like devine inspiration.you will see dozens of cheaply made race movies that go straight to hbo or dvd vhs.guys try some decaif and BTW this to will fade away.I SEE so many riced out cars since fast and furious.it will not last just like the rest of those genres movies. well I did hear break dancing is making a come back
