So I have a question for everyone.

Honda is bring a car to the NAA with no interior, with supposed performance features that is not well known to them or yet to be proven, and according to the new CEO, they started working this car only last year (2011), do you really think it will be ready by 2014 model, introduce by 2013?

Took them six year to figure out the NSX while VTEC existed a year before they figured out a DOHC over the old Legend block will do the trick, and now the standard model year cycle is 5 years for Civics and Accord... To design and built.

I'm trying really hard to be optimistic... You know what I mean?

Read the Earth dreams link Vance. They lay out clearly when the tech will be introduced. We'll actually see some of it this year in showrooms. The updated Legend/RL will have this as well and that's due to debut at the NY autoshow in April more than likely as a 2013 model.

The new vehicle line up starting with the ILX will be using this new hybrid tech. I just don't know which is supposed to come to market first with the top of the line set up the NSX or RL.

I just talked with my contacts in Japan ...its gonna be a steam engine:eek:

now we are talking.....

I swear Honda, and all of those Japanese manufactures come up with the gayest sounding slogans....

Not that there's anything wrong with that....

I think the best scenario is a new NSX for a daily... And a GTR for... Ummm... For when you wanna go fast. LOL

They had that earth dream BS with the F1 program and their car drove around the circuits like a Prius.

A high rad count will do that to you:wink:

People People come on why such doubt when Honda has announced another NSX in the same year the Mayans have predicted the end of the world. Can't possibly be coincidence:rolleyes:

One thing that's really curious about all the new engines is that the V6 is the only one not to have DOHC. WTF???

Precision Crafted Performance! That's slogan worked really well.

Hey Honda, that Earth Dream Crap is stupid~~~~!!!

This (NSX2 concept) had better be worth all the anguish Honda/Acura has caused its most loyal, die-hard supporters.

But as soon as we see what they have to offer, it will begin all over again until we actually get a production ready car (which they will probably abort at the last second again).

I really hope this isn't going to be a parallel to Duke Nukem Forever...

I hope to get down to the show next week. I'll post some photos here if I do.

+1 ...not everyone is going to understand your apropos reference

from wikipedia.org:
"Intended to be groundbreaking, Duke Nukem Forever became a notable example of vaporware due to its severely protracted development schedule; the video game was released in 2011 but had been in development since 1996. "

will probably be the same with the concept to production for this car also. I hate how complacent Honda have become, and it shows in their product/sales. lets just hope that this is the new product to spark a Honda performance renaissance (though to be honest I am very pessimistic)
only a few hours to go now...
