I have a stock '92 and I'm considering getting headers &/or a custom Muffler and I'm looking for advice. One of the guys I know went the GTOne route, spent a whole lot of $$ and ended up TOO LOUD for TRACK Day!

I would like something that's not too loud at cruise, but wails when I wind it up a bit. Not >90 DB wails, but a bit of shriek is what I'm after. It's got yo be decent at highway speeds though.

I'm looking for opinions and I'm looking for advice. I'm even looking for a used system in great shape.

Check Dali...my car came with a new Dali Ferrari exhaust - and everyone says its the cats meow...its not insanely loud, but gives you the Ferrari burst.

Dam:cool:

Not used... When I had my 91 I got an Ark DT-X new around $1100 + Comptech headers. I really like the combination of header/exhaust, pretty looking exhaust with nice dual tips, & quiet with just a little more rumble over the stock exhaust @ WOT... and probably won't attract any of the city's finest either, I miss it I'll have to get some pipes fabed up to use on my newer 2000 soon.

I did have something similar to the Dual Parallel (DT-S) exhaust I loved the note was way louder, but I like the DT-X over it for its sheer quietness for normal under 4k RPM driving...

I did have a weird one-off fittment issue with my first DT-X, but they exchanged it and I was off an running after that...

BTW its on sale now... see http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=102108

Ark's Site (There was a vid clip there of the Db which I would say soundwise is pretty acurate):
