I was looking around for a new exhaust system setup even though the one that comes stock on my 2003 sounds very nice..

I had a few basic questions.. Would the RM Dual Tip DTM exhaust fit my 2003 due to the difference of the rear bumper? Hows the quality and sound? Also, the Taitec JGTC exhaust was pretty nice, very light, Japanese built...

I was also looking at this other exhaust on Ebay -

They emailed me a link for the Quicktime video-

Looked pretty good and sounded niceeee.. wanted to see what you pros thought of it... Price, sound, quality, stock looks..

Also, if anyone has any sound clips or videos of their exhaust setup, whichever brand, an upload would be really appreciated..

Thanks in advance..

I looked at the pictures on the e-bay listing and I don't understand what is going on. It clearly looks like there are tow different exhausts in the pictures. One has a very small muffler (similar to the taitec Lightweight) and the other picture looks like the OEM exhaust painted black. You can see the differences by looking at the emergence profiles of each exhaust where the tips come out of the muffler. Something is definitely fishy.

If I were in your position I'd just order an exhaust from Science Of Speed imo.

There are pictures on both the new exhaust and the OEM
on Ebay. If you download the movieclip from Paddock they
have recorded the sound from OEM-exhaust first, and then
the new one.

I´m just about to order the exhaust from Paddock...

(I hope you understand my bad english)

Your English is just fine, thanks for the clarification. But since there are only a few exhausts designed with mufflers specifically for the NSX, I'd still get one from SOS. Plus, SOS has a stellar customer servcice department.

I would be very careful with this as well. It looks like a custom exhaust setup with a flowmaster canister or something similar (which you can have it by ~$400 including parts and installation). For the price of $850, I would add some more and do what DocL suggested.

I second that, Chris will take care of you. Paddock? Never heard of them, which should be a red flag. No one hear wants to see a fellow NSX'er getting taken.

I already pm the seller and ask them if I can go visit them at their shop to check out the exhaust. I'll keep you guys posted if they allow me to pay them a visit. take care
