Engine died for 1 sec when I turned climate control on while driving

wondering if anyone has had this issue, all though, it seems a very very strange one.....The other day I left my house and was driving for about 2 min, I had just got into sencond gear and was accelerating (normal, not rapid) and since it was cold, I turned on the heat and all of a sudden the car jumped hard and all the dash lights turned on but the engine started itself right up...it all happened in just a second...it was very strange and has not happened since....thanks for any advice.

may sound silly but maybe check to make sure the battery cables are tight.

I second this...in fact, remove them, wire brush or (fine) sandpaper the contact points and reconnect.

Hey guys...thanks for the advice..I will definatly give it a try...hopefully it wont happen again...but its only hapened that one time, so maybe it was just a fluke anyway. )

Sounds like you have a loose or bad ground connection somewhere on the car. Most likely under the dash or front hood.
