There's more to it than that. While a child can consent under the age of 18 in certain states, the "adult" can't be older than a certain age. There are many other "technicalities" involved when it comes to "age of consent", so before any of you old pervs get an idea to drive down to SC to knock the bottom out of your 14 y/o girlfriend, better read up.

Yeah, but that's South Carolina and sometimes when offenders relocate to another state that info gets mixed up. I posted a certified copy of the sentence, that trumps SC's SO entry. Besides, he's also registered in Virginia where the info is correct:

Then you run afoul of federal law - "crossing a state boundary for the purposes of ..." blah blah blah. Or, "taking a child across a state boundary for ..." blah blah blah. Not sure what the exact law is called, I'm not a lawyer or anything.

It is probably the same offense.

2001 was the year of the offense occurring. And, 2003 was the conviction through the court system (it takes time).

Especially since they suspended 9 1/2 years. They wouldn't do this if it was a repeat offender.

They're not. It appears it may be the date he relocated to South Carolina. I ran him at the courthouse by name, the case I posted is his only felony conviction.

In any case the people here have effectively made life miserable for this guy for upcoming years. you've posted several of his pictures, full name, address, wiki entries, felony records that will live on in google for the next decades you've made his whole life public knowledge to hundreds of thousand peoples across the world, even people who live near him have driven passed his house. you've ruined his name for life for cheap jokes and ASSUMPTIONS. for all we know he's committed suicide.

I commented on that back in the beginning of the thread. I was confused if there was just one offense or there were in fact 2 offences

Yes, I am familiar with him. His name is Paul Dalton and runs a mobile detailing biz called "Miracle Detail" or something like that in the UK. That wax you're fascinated with is called Zymol Royale. It is expensive, for sure. But it isn't as rare as the video supposes.

Paul Dalton's best attribute is his ability to market, rather than his ability to detail. Most good detailers have a process that is very similar or perhaps even better than Paul's (not to say that Paul is a bad detailer by any means).

Would it surprise you to know that Paul is an active member of vBulletin boards? He goes by the username "Miracle". You can find his posts on DW (Detailing World). I forget the addy so u can google it.
