Drive after Cars & Coffee on the 26th

Ah, so that's how they keep all the kids from showing up. It'll be easier for me to just stay up all night rather than go to sleep and miss the alarm.

 Not everyone shows up at 6:30 am. I rarely arrive before 8 am, and it's usually closer to 8:15 am. The good thing about that is: (1) I sleep more and, (2) Some cars have already left so there's parking available in the lot to the left, in front of Toyota. By that time, you can just stand at the entrance/exit and the cars all drive by to leave.

Patty, I agree 8-815 is not a bad time to come. I also remember one time getting there around 845-9. I saw maybe 5 cars and one of the few guys still standing was Tom. lol... I guess I shouldn't have been surprised.

Yeah, I'm usually there standing with Tom. Most of the time Tom, my honey and I, and a few others head from Cars and Coffee to Pacific Whey in Crystal Cove, for breakfast. We'll hang out for an hour or more. It's a Saturday morning ritual. Anyone who wants to join us, just find us.

As most already know, it IS going to rain Saturday. So, my NSX will be garage bound that day. However, there is always next Saturday, March 5. I will be attending C&C but driving a different car. Come and check-out the special marque event that will be in the corral that day. Here's a hint. It will be filled with mid engine cars but not Japanese, Ferraris or Lambos.

Looks like there is interest for next weekend the 5th. Post if you can make it.

Thank you weather.com for yet another inaccurate forecast! It was a cool but beautiful day in LA today. Would have been perfect for C&C. grrrrrrrr!

Sat, March 5th looks good for me. My honey, Jerry, would like to join with his NFR S2000.

I couldn't let this great day go to waste so I decided to do some stunt driving of my own on Stunt Rd

On my way home I saw this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 300SL Gullwing with Arizona Historical plates. What an incredibly beautiful car to see in person.

You are making a grown man cry :(! I hope you are proud of yourself! That gullwing is seriously an incredible machine though. Absolutely stunning.

I'll be there on the 5th! Unless I get a really good gig that I can't pass up, which sometimes happens. Where are we driving?

Through some of OC's canyons and Ortega Hwy:biggrin:. Also lunch for those interested.

Les, this is after breakfast at Pacific Whey? Or are you talking going straight from Cars and Coffee?

^Hey, Tom. How about you?

Looks like some kind of showdown like at the OK Corral- ...an impressive lineup.

...Speaking of corrals, C&C should be insane this Saturday (March 5) given the rainout last Saturday and great weather forecast. I will be there but not participating in any NSX road trip Les and others are talking about. Instead, I will be leading a Pantera road trip to Crystal Cove following the show. Do come and check out what will be in the corral this day. We're talking 45+ Panteras. Yup, Yellowhaze has done it again! OK, maybe not 103 NSXs but this many Panteras in one place is unheard of. Can't wait to hear all those Panteras starting their V8s at the same time.

See you guys and gals there!

Going straight from C&C as Ortega Hwy gets very crowded and not as much fun as the morning goes on. That is why I mentioned lunch after the drive but we can talk more about it at the monthly meet. I want to make it so everyone can go and have fun:smile:
