I see people speak of "droning" inside the cabin.. what does "droning" sound like?

Like all sensory stimuli, sounds are different to different people. To most, save for two, "droning" sounds like an aggressive growl from a high output V6. To those in the Savannah GA area, "droning" is the sound of a normally operating combustion engine.
