do you know who this is ??

<sigh>

Nothing I haven't heard before...here we go:

This guy is a porsche nut. Bottom Line. Everything in that screams "Porsche." In fact, Porsche is one of the only modern sports cars that DOESN'T sit eye level with SUVs bumbers (360, NSX, Viper, lambo, corvette...) So thats out.

As far as handling: Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the NSX produce faster lap times than a porsche (minus the turbo)???

Braking: I'll give that one to the porsche, but still, it stops very very nice compared to just about any car on the road (minus your Benz, Lexus's, BMWs, Porsches)...

Acceleration: We've been beaten with this one already...its OLD  WE DON'T CARE

I have never ever had a problem illuminating the road with my headlights...and the car is so low that i can often times run with my high beams and not bother any other driver...

If safety is an issue, which it seems to be with you, then YOU need to be driving one of those 4500lb SUVs...but don't roll over

I'm sorry you feel your car is a toy...for 80k, you better not have expected anything more than something to ENJOY...otherwise, be like the typical person and buy a camry, v6 mustang, corolla, or an explorer.

I don't know, but the only NSX that "weighs more than 3200 pounds" is an NSX-T with an automatic...

I just read this :

who the hell is this ??

weird

yezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

When an NSX is not enough car for someone, they need to sell it and buy something like a Ferrari. They have everything he mentioned in his story. However when it breaks the cost of repair will be outta sight. It always is and probably will never change. His heart will then jump into the ol throat and his mind will be flooded with memories of the NSX.
I have owned both a 1995 NSX-T which was in the shop twice in two years and a 1992 Ferrari 348ts which was in the shop ... waaaay too much.
Whoever this person is, they need to experience something like this for themselves and then if they are smart, sell it suffering their losses and buy another NSX.
Buying the wrong sportscar is like marrying the wrong girl. You will never be happy ... so make the right decision the first time ... even if it takes more research.
This message is for someone out there ... take it to heart !

All I have to say is that my NSX handles way better than my Porsche period. The power of a stock NSX is a little better than the Porsche. I enjoy driving the NSX much more. Much more.....If I am not happy with a cars performance, I do one of two things. Add more power or get rid of it. Why pay money to drive a car that you don't like. I don't see this guy selling his car so he must like something about it.

everything he complained about is applicable to high end sports cars (except maybe the power thing) and brembo works wonders for any car ;)

afterthought, why would you go to the trouble making a website about something you dislike? get something funky and write about how much you like it. negative energy is bad mmmkay?

Yes, Mr. Mackey.

Not everything he said is bad. I agree with you folks though. Most of the aspects of the NSX he complained about will also exist in other sports cars.

Also, it is ok to turn those brights on if you cannot see. I had a Corvette(1985) for five years. Two of those years, I always ran the brights(when I lived in a smaller town outside of Dallas). No one ever flashed me in that time because the car, like the NSX, sits very low to the ground.

Looking at his website, I find that he really enjoys gizmos and doo-dads. The NSX does not have this so I can understand why he might want a Porsche. There is a lot more electronic "stuff" in a 996.

It is a bit disappointing to see that someone is unhappy with our beloved. I must say, his car is a particularly good looking NSX. I may have to do a search on the Eibach springs as I love the stance on his car.

I really love the pictures of his NSX next to the Excursion. The NSX looks like a race car in that photo. How can he have no passion for beloved? :(
