Distance question!

How far is a trip from Colorado back to San Diego? Which freeway you took before, (for the ones that have done this trip?) What is a safe speed so one won't get pull over? (I was thinking of 7-8mph over the speed limit.)

I know I could have gone on Mapquest, but i figured someone might know a fast way around and less cops to deal with.

LAX to Denver is 862 nautical miles so adding overhead and the distance between LAX and SD figure about 1500 miles.

The quickest route is Hwy 70 from Denver to Hwy 15 in Utah which takes you all the way to SD. Thats it... only 2 freeways. Best part about this is you get to pass through Vegas Baby!

But for an awesome view, find your way to hwy 316 between the Az and Utah border and go through Monument Valley. The view is absolutely awesome, especially during early morning hours!!
