How do loose lug nuts cause no brakes????

Breaking is greatly reduced when one wheel is laying sideways propping the front end off the ground. His emergency brakes worked as they are tied to the rear wheels.

I'm puzzled as to how all four tires were flatspotted though...

Well, I pulled the Ebrake all teh way up, and kinda caught the front brakes a little bit, then skid for 3-4 tenths of a mile.
